There is something timeless about Talbots, things I got there years ago I can still wear. What drew me to this cardigan was the cute little belt. I imagine it would work equally well with the shell or with a button up shirt. A cardigan that can be worn for quite some time to come.

I was looking for a brown cashmere cardigan when I stumbled upon this glorious find. It's a bit expensive, but it's fine Scottish cashmere and made on a darling little island in Scotland (the Isle of Skye, last time I was there we stayed at this adorable little b & b called graceland). It's guaranteed to be high quality and it's guaranteed to be warm. Plus with a cut like it has, it's guaranteed to stay classic for years to come. I plan on pairing it with a cute floral circle skirt.

I like this cameo not so much for the carving on the front, though I like the swan on a lake scene. Rather I like this cameo for the variable color in the background. It makes it look like a sunset which when paired with a simple lake makes a pretty tableau.

One of the things I love about this cameo is that unlike many cameo subject which show women swathed in layers of clothing with hair in a prim updo, this subject shows a woman enjoying her youth . Handmade in Italy, the quality just shines through on this hand carved cameo.

One of the things I love the most about this cameo is the fact that it doesn't have the trim. It's just shell and flowers. It's more casual this way, more fun this way. I think this totally compliments the earthy nature of the floral subject of the pendant that can also be used as a pin.

I'm of a mixed mind on these watches. On one hand I think they are cleverly cute and slightly adorable. On the other while they would be perfect for lolita wear and vintage inspired outfits they might be a little overwhelming for everything else. It's my personal feeling that one can never have too many aprons. And these ruffled half aprons in their gorgeous fabric (I love that red toile) are jut my favorite apron style. Oh, I don't know what era this is from, but it's simply fabulous. With the slinky tubing (who even sees that in jewelry anymore) to the casual flowers in the front. Some cameos are expensive, some are not. All are pretty. This cameo isn't on that belongs in a museum, but it's almost better that way. With nicer cameos I save them for the right time, the perfect moment. With my cheaper cameos, I just have fun and throw them on a ribbon to make a choker, or pin on my purse to add that little bit extra. With a black background, white floral centerpiece and silver edge. This cameo would certainly get lots of use.

I love cameos, I remember when I was little digging through my stepmother's jewelry box and skipping over everything to look at her cameos. She had this one that I was in love with. To this day I still love cameos. I think you really can mix them into any outfit. I find this medusa cameo slightly cheeky. Medusa was a strong woman and is sometimes portrayed as a monstrous woman, but in this cameo, she is beautiful. It's a cameo with a decidedly fun twist on the wholesome flowers and religious scenes normally seen.

I wish this phone worked! It's still utterly girly, utterly ridiculous, but also, absurdly awesome. It's a fancy phone that I could actually see working into a decor. I'm not a big fan of Alice in Wonderland, but I love this scent. It's honey lavender and makes your room smell like what I imagine ruffles and frills smell like a twist into an utterly feminine side of the world. Can I say this book sounds fabulous? The idea that you don't have to look like every other blonde Paris Hilton wannabe to be glamourous is beautiful. Interspersed with instructions on creatng that more fabulous you are interviews with some definietly glamourous people. Sounds like a fascinating read...that I can't wait to devour.

Love, love, love this shirt! More people should be familiar with the constitution and what better way to silently show them than wearing it on a shirt. After all, I know I always try to read the print on people's shirts.

These are totally cute. I love the mid height heel (comfortable enough to wear around all day), the bow (jazzing up an otherwise basic shoe without being overwhelming) and the whole shoe package. Even better I can see the shoes either being useful for the office, a fifties inspired outfit or just when I'm feeling playful.

If you already have the grinder attachment, you don't need to get the full pasta set for your Kitchen Aid mixer, you can get this attachment for your grinder. I'm all for multipurpose uses and with this attachment to an attachment. The Kitchen Aid grinder can now make pasta.

Making homemade applesauce is a treat. But last time I made it, I dumped batch after batch in my blender. This fruit strainer and grinder has me all sorts of excited! Just think of how easy making various fruit sauces will be now.

A sausage grinder will also be immensly useful in the quest to make the perfect potato sausage and one that attaches to my kitchen aid mixer, all the better. After all, it's taking my basic mixer and turning it into a many multi purpose machine. And it means I don't have to hand grind it or buy already ground meat!
