ShotCodes are like barcodes, but 2D. If you download software to your camera phone, taking a picture of one will automagically take you to the URL encoded in it.

I just created two of these for my brother (one with the URL for his blog, and one for his contact information), and had buttons made with the ShotCode images on.
He's a student, so I can think of several ways they might come in handy. Remembering where he lives, geeking to fellow students, etc.

Update: the software is available for most phones, apart from my P990i of course *mumble*.

It appears a handful of 'crafty' people also love them enough to create their own copies (?). I've found a few articles in local Swedish papers referring to local artists who do these - always in tone of voice indicating that they're being amazingly inventive...

Mmmmm... Admittedly it was the pretty box that caused the purchase in the first place, but god damn is this niiiice beer! I'm currently enjoying the Limited Edition IPA 2006, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny/cent/krona...whatever. It's got a sweet malty taste that I can only describe as figgy, perfectly blended with an underlying dark malty note. (The brewery insists that it's citrus, vanilla and oak however, but what do they know!)

A different sort of tripod. Makes it possible to attacha a camera to "just about anything- anywhere and everywhere". It looks like they've also also just released a PRO-version for SLRs/heavier cameras that supports up to 3 kilos. Not a moment to late given the success of the original version!

It's amazing how much easier it is to keep a document standing up using one of these, instead of trying to keep it in place using a hole punch and two heavy books... (I really wish they were my idea!)

The best thing about this book are the 150 empty pages. They follow short quotes or inspirational stories selected to give you a jolt of inspiration, and exist simply to let you capture that great idea you just had.
I got one for myself a couple of years ago, and loved it. Then we bougth one for our programmer guy, and got a few extra to give to clients and such. Let's just say chocolates would have had quite the same effect...

'Thermal' apparently means "won't burn your hands", and that can only be a good thing as far as I'm concerned. It also sports a rubber base to stop it from sliding about whatever surface one chooses to place it on.

This free online magazine is a 'showroom' for beautiful, touching, funny and brilliant works by advertising agencies from all over the place.
It's published by a Swedish advertising agency called Sweet Williams.
Used to share an office with these guys. They're good. They make advertising that people remember, and their clients like them because people remember to spend their money on the products and services they've spent their money advertising.

I'm really jealous I didn't invent this. Letting your guests/kids assemble the table while you do the cooking is a great idea!

A free-standing fire place! There are even open flame versions.
All models have a built-in burner that uses a flammable luquid, meaning you can turn it on or off at any time. Oh, and they're apparently eco-friendly as well.
Though the selling point has to be the designs. Anyone who's ever seen an average British electric version would agree...
