I love these. They're not really bandanas but rather multi-purpose headbands, such as hair tie, neck warmer, etc. They can also be used as face masks for motorcycle riding or burning man. These Sahalie exclusive prints are great.

I recently discovered this all-purpose soap at my local organic store. It's awesome. I love it that you can use it for hair, body, hands... Makes traveling a lot easier. It also contains hemp, which concerns some of my friends in terms of passing customs when traveling abroad. I don't think this bit of hemp is going to set of any alarms, but I suppose I wouldn't know...

Can be used on pets (so they claim, but I haven't tried). Organic and not tested on animals. Thumbs up.

Instead of tearing down a supporting wall, I turned the 3' eye-sore into a coat rack. Floor to ceiling wood matching the hall and kitchen. All I have to do is add some modern hooks, and the structure will look intentional. I now like this solution more than not having a structure in this space.

This is the seventh pair I've bought in two years (yes, a little obsessive)... But I do wear these almost everyday, and they get chewed up by dogs sometimes. I'm going for the classic yellow this time. Easy to find in the yard if dogs use them as rubber toys.

I bought three of these to hang above my dining table. The red color is nice (they call it paprika). They're also very inexpensive ($29.95), so if I get tired of them, replacing them would be without too much financial heartache.

The problem with these being so reasonably priced ($19.99 for 100 cards) is how easy it is to order new cards before you run out of the old ones. It's so easy to decide you need better images.

I love mine. They're perfectly sized (normal business cards are way too big and a waste of trees). I was very surprised how quickly they arrived from England and how well-presented they were considering their price. (via chaimuffin)

I ordered six of these for this year's Burning Man. Weather reports as of August 19 warns for extreme wind conditions (30 mph). This means insane amount of dust storms. I think I'll bring every dust-type gear I have around the house, just in case. And nasal spray! (via Burner)

I have this desk, and it gets a ton of compliments. People seem to think it's super expensive, when in fact, it's quite moderate in pricing. I've had it for a while, and it still looks up-to-date, which is surprising. I guess the industrial look never completely went out of style. It goes with any decor, and for women or men. The cables help stabilize the desk to keep it from rocking, which is a nice little feature.

October 30, 2007 | I ended up ordering this one. I took a chance. I hope it doesn't turn out too "Euro Flashy", you know... the kind that borderlines Hong Kong looking design. Not in a good way. I decided it would replace the two lights I was going to have to install above the island. And the glass is less obtrusive, creating less density above eye-level. It's important for me to obtain a lot of negative space. Frees the mind. Good Feng Shui too.

June 27, 2007 | I am stuck. I can't decide between the four styles I have posted here. This one is interesting. The hood is lit, like mood lighting. I'm having trouble deciding if this will look nice or cheesy. It can go either way... That's the problem. Hopefully nice, because at $2,500, it's a thousand more than the other ones I selected.

Ten years ago I bought a pair of Prada trousers that looked just like these. They were unusual at the time because they were low-wasted (didn't exist back then) and wide-legged. Six months later I gained weight and didn't fit them any longer, so I gave them away. Pooh! I've lost weight since, and I've been wishing for them back.

Today I saw these. I swear someone must have owned the same pair I had and were inspired. They're basically identical, but ten years later. Hmmm. I ordered them immediately so I can stop whimpering over the other. I'm very happy that one of the two sizes still available was my size.

I'm such a fan of wide-legged, low-rise trousers that I often worry they will go out of style. A little out of style, I don't mind. But "oh-my-God" out of style would be very, very sad for me. I've been looking for black platforms all summer, and I finally found them here at Actiive Endeavors. And on sale too! (woo hoo!) You think it would be easy to find heels with closed-toes (I am not a fan of open-toed shoes for some reason), but it has been one of the most impossible tasks. These are cute! They will work for Fall too, which is a plus. $118 (orig $395)

7/3/07 - I received them. These are amazing! The soles/heels are solid light wood. It's a bit like walking on stilts, but boy, did people look at my shoes when I walked in with these. You think they're simple, but they're not. The ankle straps qualify these into the sexy category.

There are too many models with too similar options. It's very confusing. I have decided to buy the white option because I do not need a dryer yet... And my existing is white. This way, it looks half decent together. It's a bummer. The titanium color is pretty nice, as well. There are two reasons why I am replacing my perfectly good washer - one is the front load. I need to wash the dogs' rugs and blankets easily, and the front load can do this. It's also large capacity at 4.0 cu. ft. The second reason is energy efficiency. These are much better on the environment because it uses less water.

I have this, and it is indeed one of the most comfortable chairs you'll ever sit in. It is designed to distribute your weight so you are always comfortable, no matter which position you sit in. I highly recommend this if you have a bad back. As a matter of fact, my boyfriend actually used this for a while to watch t.v. because of his bad back. Okay, so I saw this on Kayzee's list on ThisNext and bought them. Expensive for two plastic spiky balls. I thought they had some type of fancy gadgety thing to them. Nope - just spiky balls.

However, it does work well for preventing static cling. It really does work. I haven't had to use my cling-free sheets for a while now, which is great. As for drying time... I can't tell. My dryer is electric (I just found out when my bill arrived at $575!)... (The machine came with the house, I didn't check...). I'm installing a gas line to put a gas dryer in soon - an energy efficient one.

One warning... These things make a whole lot of noise in the dryer. Bang, boom, bang.

Actually, two warnings. My dogs have been eyeing the dryer to get to these balls. They think these are dog toys... They do look like it, don't they? (via kayzee)

Accoridng to MSNBC, push mowers has increased to 350,000 sold per year, which is 100,000 more sold than 5 years previous. The American Lawn Mower Company believes it's due to eco-conscious consumer.

I have one of these at home. My gardener tends to forget certain portions of my yard, so I had this neat idea of mowing those areas myself. Well, I couldn't figure ouit how to use it, so I gave up and bought a weedeater. I'm so lame. (Hey, it has a safety mechanism that locks. It is tricky to unlock without the instructions manual, which I conveniently lost, of course.)

Still, I love the push mower. It's such a classic. (via msnbc)

I am psyched. I think this is the best value for your money. It's $900 for the king and it's available to ship immediately. I'm a little concerned about the light color, because this bed will end up being the dogs' bed within a few hours. It's low, which is a problem when you have 100 lb dogs. (Hence the king size.)

I've ordered a few things from CB2, and I've been generally happy with them. No complaints.

I have one of these, and although I rarely use it, the times I do it makes me feel like I'm with my grandmother in the kitchen. It's the basic marble mortar and pestle that has been around forever, and a basics to have in your kitchen. (via Daisy Martinez)

I am so ashamed of myself. I can't get over this furry desire. I tried. But then I saw this rocker at PBteen on sale for $79, and that was the end of trying. I think they're fun little additions to acontemporary livingroom. I'll bet people will opt to sit on this before the sofa.

Vinegar is one of those nature's miracles that gets you wondering why people don't use it more often. I use mine in the dogs' water and to clean the house. Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar is the one to use because it is unfiltered, which is important, because it still has all the enzyms that are beneficial . (The clear vinegar have been stripped of their beneficial qualities.)
