Absolutely timeless. Simple and utilitarian with great properties, heat resistant and food safe. Cooking is about creating experiences and building memories. What better material in this journey than wood. Wood utensils don’t age they mature with a great patina.

The latest material revolution in the kitchen. Pastry and Basting brushes made in natural boar hair works great in applying and transferring liquids but they are very difficult to clean and not heat resistant. Silicone is dishwasher safe and heat resistant. These new OXO brushes are designed with a paddle and bristles to duplicate the performance of traditional brushes with the easiness in cleaning and maintenance.

A Classic. In today’s busy civilization a majority of cooking is about speed and convenience and it makes it difficult to justify the maintenance of Cast Iron products. Le Creuset is enameling their products and don’t need the same attention but with the same performance of material. Perfect for slow cooking and pretty enough to be served out off. One of few products that can go from cook to serve.
