What so you cant justify spending a coupe of K on a white Hermes Birkin like Kate Moss's - when that same fund could probably house and feed and entire community in the third world? This was a hard book to find. But, like anything you have to wait for, it's worth it once you get it! It is gorgeous! From the moment I took it out of the box, I didn't move. I beautifully written book based on real events by a Genius Author Elie Wiesel. He tells the personal , emotional story of his life in the holocaust. It has vivid imigary in which he describes and wouldnt be best for a small child to read. I fell in love with Elie and his story and the many characters. It is too bad a story so beautiful had to be told on the behalf of horrible events & circumstances.

An amazing 12" subwoofer. This will def. push some air for you and really make those lows really shake things.
This is the mistake many people make when buying speaker in a box systems. Many of those systems really give you satellites and a bass module. You really need a SUB-woofer to really create those amazing lows.

I own an older HK receiver. I love the results but if I was going to buy new this is what I would do. As disclaimer, I would always spend time sitting in a room listening to speakers before purchasing them. I really prefer JBL's due to my experience with them. But there are always other speakers.

These would make excellent front speakers...but lets use them for your surrounds. That would make a phenomenal sound field for back to front and left to right sound.
Again these are very rich sounding speakers due to the horn tweeter and 5.25 drivers.

As speakers go...there is nothing like a classic. Jbl's are as classic and reliable for sound as possible. They work off 2 mid-range drivers to produce the rich mids and the size of the dual drivers have the size to push enough air to produce really heart warming bass. The highs are created by a horn tweeter and usually this produces very accurate reproductions.
I would use this speaker for your 2 fronts and a single for your Center channel.

I am a Harman Kardon fan. The power amount of amperage ( vs wattage ) that is outputted is always incredible in Harman receivers. Amps are always a cleaner way to determine sound value in comparison to wattage.
I have owned 4 Harman receivers and they have always performed at supreme levels and have sounded rich in the mid, acute in the highs, and rumbly in the lows. I will always take a Harman product over a Sony ES, Onkyo, Denon, and Yamaha.
This receiver will play 7.1, 2 HDMI ins, & 3 optical ins....so it is ready for any of your digital needs.
As a plus, Harman designs really clean and beautiful products.
As the brains and heart of any system.....this is a great place to start. You can always do better and spend more but I don't think you will need to.

I can almost feel the warm breezes now.... wait. No I can't. It's still fricking cold here. Sigh.

Still, it will heat up soon enough and these are a great way to celebrate on your own patio or give as a hostess gift or birthday present. Themes include Flip-flops, Bikinis, Palm Trees and Sex on the Beach and come various forms like wine glasses, wine stoppers, serving trays and martini glasses. Love 'em.

These standard sized luggage tags are just too cute. I'm the kind of person that always like to make sure I instantly spot my bags (and hope that someone doesn't confuse my bag with theirs!) and would definitely use this.

Personally, I couldn't travel without locking my belongings.

When my husband and I take 14-hour train rides (from our town to Oslo) we still opt for the minipris seats. This means if you can manage to sleep you must do so sitting up or on the shoulder of the person next to you. If you plan on long travels where you must sit for long periods an inflatable neck pillow is highly recommended. Forget those tiny ones they provide you with, you need full coverage neck support! This one has an easily washable cover, folds and takes little storage space, and can be easily inflated.
