Dinosaurs - The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons
1 recommendation
"Another weird 90's show from the mind of Jim Henson. You'll probably remember the scary little baby and his catch phrases and songs. Although targeted towards kids with its puppetry, Dinosaurs is surprisingly mature humor- almost mimicking an adult sitcom like Everybody Loves Raymond."
Infest : Papa Roach
1 recommendation
"Ok, so it was released in 2000, but that's close enough to the 90's. Infest includes probably the most angst-ridden song of all time, "Last Resort." If you don't remember it, take a listen and you will. "Cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort..." Intense."
Inside Out: Eve 6
1 recommendation
"Get all your pre-teen angst out with this 90's rock classic. "I would swallow my pride, I would choke on the rinds, but the lack thereof would leave me empty inside..." Yeah, you know it."
Full House: The Complete Seasons 1-7
2 recommendations
"Whether or not you liked Full House, it is quintessentially 90's. It takes us back to a time when John Stamos had a career, Aunt Becky was Aunt Becky and not the mom from 90210, neither of the Olsen twins had been in rehab, and Bob Saget was friendly instead of creepy."
Heavyweights
1 recommendation
"Another movie from 1995, Heavyweights stars a bunch of chubby kids and at a corrupt fat camp run by Tony Parker, played by Ben Stiller. The best part of the movie is definitely "The Blob," the greatest looking lakeside activity ever."
Return to Oz
1 recommendation
"The utterly creepy, weird sequel to the Wizard of Oz that was shown a lot on TV in the 90's. It starts out with Dorothy escaping from a mental institution to return to a destroyed Oz, complete with scary men with wheels for hands and feet and a headless queen who chooses her head from a case every day. Really, really frightening."
Tamagotchi Connection V 4.5 Original Virtual Pet
1 recommendation
"These look a little different now than they did when I was a kid, but same concept. They beep all the time, you can never figure out how to shut them up, and parents hated them. I specifically remember having a mini meltdown when I couldn't figure out how to make it stop. At least we know they're still out there, for those brave souls."
Furby
1 recommendation
"Do I even need to elaborate? The worst idea for a toy, EVER. I think kids and parents alike will agree that hearing creepy little noises day and night drove them nearly to insanity. Actually, I may or may not know someone who set their Furby on fire. Not me, I swear..."
Trix Yogurt
1 recommendation
"Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids! I always thought that was pretty mean. The rabbit never does get his Trix, but luckily Trix yogurt is still for sale and has the same weird color/flavor combinations. Cotton candy+strawberry kiwi...I just don't see it the way I used to."
Lunchables
1 recommendation
"Cheese, crackers, and bologna stacks. Weird, fake pizza. Sound familiar? Lunchables were the hottest thing you could have in your lunchbox, although looking back, I don't really know why. Probably good marketing."
Ren & Stimpy - The Complete First and Second Seasons
1 recommendation
"I have no idea why this was considered a kids' show. Honestly, it was so crude, and I can only imagine what the Uncut edition is like. But I bet it's fantastic."
Will Smith - Greatest Hits: Will Smith
2 recommendations
"I mean this CD is easily one of the best ever. Will Smith is a genius."
Are You Afraid of the Dark? - The Complete First Season

"Another high five to Canada for their kids programs. This show was really good. It reminds me of the Outer Limits but with kids."
Best Actresses of the 1990's Paper Dolls
1 recommendation
"Cool. Now I can finally adjust Gwyneth's ill-fitting, peepshow of a dress..... It's been bugging ever since her speech. from the site: Kathy Bates got one. So did Jodie Foster, Helen Hunt, Hilary Swank, and 6 other talented ladies of the silver screen. Paper dolls depicting these 1990s Oscar recipients, as well as Holly Hunter, Jessica Lange, Frances McDormand, Gwyneth Paltrow, Susan Sarandon,..."
Bram Stoker's Dracula / Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, DVD
1 recommendation
"Both films, Dracula (1992) and Frankenstein (1994), would make great Halloween movies. Even though Halloween was here a week ago, I would still watch Halloween movies a bit longer."
Wag the Dog
2 recommendations
"A hilarious movie that will leave you questioning the government more than you already do. Weeks before an election and right after a sex scandal, they come up with a plan to get the president reelected. The plan, of course, is to stage a fake war."
The State - Season 1: Movies & TV
1 recommendation
"The state was a situational comedy show on MTV in the mid 90s. However, most of us would know the crew as the people that went on to do Reno 911 and Wet Hot American Summer. This show will always be a classic in my book."
The Adventures of Pete & Pete: Season One
2 recommendations
"I wish Nickelodeon would release more of its shows on DVD. Pete & Pete was a rare jewel in kid's tv. I highly recommend this if you have a kid in your house now."
Tin Cup
1 recommendation
"I recently got into a discussion about the all-time best sports films. At first, this one was somehow left out. Then, out of nowhere, some blurted it out and we all agreed. Tin Cup is one of the better sports movies around."
Dutch: Ed O'Neill, Ethan Embry, JoBeth Williams, Christopher McDonald, Ari Meyers, Elizabeth Daily, L. Scott Caldwel
1 recommendation
"Another one of those films from the early 90's that I will always associate with my childhood and my dad. This is film is what happens when Ed O'Neil, yeah the guy from "Married With Children," has to deal with a pesky kid."
Curly Sue
1 recommendation
"I don't know if you guys remember this one. But, I loved... I still love it. The story of Curly Sue, you're average cute, sweet and charming con artist and her father, who is none of those but the later."
California Fleece Pull-Over Hoody from American Apparel

"Nothing says nineties fashion better than a hoodie. Grunge is alive and there is no better way to stay warm and cozy than in a hooded sweatshirt."
Floral Button-Through Dress at ASOS
1 recommendation
"The epitome of '90s femininity was the floral jumper. This little day dress is adorable - wear alone or over a white tee, a la Olivia Thurlby's character in The Wackness."
90s Decade Box Gift Basket - Classic 90's Candy
2 recommendations
"Oh my god, Fun Dip! I was so addicted to that candy! I used to eat all of this stuff - walk down memory lane for sure. This is the best cavity in a box ever!"
Harvest Moon by Neil Young
1 recommendation
"Harvest Moon was released in 1992 and is full of acoustic-folk whimsy. Neil Young hits the mark with this album. Harvest is his best-known album, with perhaps his best song "The Needle and the Damage Done", but this sequel to Harvest is a robust collection that shares a universal message and is incredibly listenable for almost any audience. There isn't a single track to skip on this album. Fo..."
Labyrinth (DVD)
5 recommendations
"Labyrinth is a classic Jim Henson-directed fantasy/adventure film from the 80s. No recommendation is going to do this film justice. It's just that good. The visuals and art direction are amazing. The movie stars David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly."
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness: Smashing Pumpkins
