FLIGHT 001: F1 Safety Passport
1 recommendation
"Your passport (cleverly concealed inside a laminated set of farcical safety instructions) will be easy for you to locate but more difficult for predators to identify as important. Who knew security could be fun ?!"
Child Aviation Restraint
1 recommendation
"They say it's so you don't have to lug your car seat onto the plane. It straps onto the airplane seat and keeps your child safe during the entire flight. Personally, I think putting the word "restraint" in the product name is a little unfriendly. I guess if you usually bring your car seat onto the flight this is a great tool. Just let them roam free in a meadow afterwards for a while?"
Cartdesk
1 recommendation
"Great for any business-woman or man. So handy for layovers or travel in general. Although we'd all like to be going on vacation at the airport, some of us do have to get some work done. The cart holds up to 50 lbs - perfect for your carry on bag. And the desk itself can hold your laptop, briefcase, or a projector. Handy!"
Dry Cases
1 recommendation
"These are 100% leak-proof bags to keep all of your valuables or favorite clothes from getting leaked on in your suitcase. These remain watertight even when submerged in water - yea! My suggestion: put the stuff that may spill in one of these so that even if they do, it won't leak out to the rest of your suitcase. Perfectt"
Best Seat
1 recommendation
"This seat cushion really is the best seat on the plane. It has a micro-processor pump and valve system that moves air around its chambers. This creates a "lifting and shifting" of the points where your body is touching the seat. Why? It keeps your circulation going while you travel! This way you don't have to get up and go to the bathroom to get your blood flowing - the cushion will do it for you!..."
Weigh To Go! Travelers Scale
1 recommendation
"This handy gadget lets you weight you luggage before you get to the airport or while you're traveling so you'll know whether to downsize to avoid extra fees. Lightweight, portable, affordable - great for busy travelers with heavy bags!"
Dooney & Bourke: Zebra Tote
1 recommendation
"The small tote (sister to the zebra-print duffle) can be thrown over your shoulder as your handbag and then stuffed to the brim with necessities. Just be sure to remember those pesky TSA flgiht regulations regarding liquids brought on board an airplane."
UV Disinfectant Wand
2 recommendations
"My OCD tendencies force me to clean my desk with a disinfectant and also to use this UV light to kill and fungal or bacterial growth which may come into my home or office."
TravelSox - Compression Socks
2 recommendations
"These socks are recommended for long flights to prevent feet swelling. If you're pregnant, they also reduce the risk of blood clots in your legs (caused by increased blood volume pooling in the legs). Convinced me, so I bought them in Khaki and found them relatively comfortable for extra snug socks."
No Jet Lag - Homeopathic Prevention for Jet Lag
2 recommendations
"There's more to jet lag than tiredness and loss of sleep - my family and I used to suffer physical discomfort every time we took the 10-hour flight to visit my in-laws in the UK. This stuff really works! It reduces the travel tummy, disorientation and mental fuzziness from crossing all those time zones, and we bounce back lots quicker. We won't get on a plane without it."
