"We have a baby gate that swings open to go down stairs. The problem with the gate is sometimes you think you shut it, and what happens when you didn't? I love this baby gate with a built in alarm. The alarm sounds when gate opens, and a secondary alarm sounds if it is left open. A safe a wonderful thing for any household with children."

"Our new house is like so many others built recently - the stairs are impossible to gate. The banisters are narrow and tne opening is too wide. When we moved from our 1909 Colonial (with normal doors) to a modern house, we were stumped. Than along came Kiddy Guard. Viola! Instant gate. One very nice perk of using this gate is that you can keep it open when baby is asleep and close it like a wind..."
