"Even though it is an, almost, identical remake of the Spanish film, "Open Your Eyes," Vanilla Sky is sure to leave you completely satisfied. In fact, the one part that is actually significantly changed, the opening scene, turned out to be one of the most memorable of the entire film. Bottom line, it's pretty, it's fun and it's an adventure."
Almost Famous Soundtrack - Untitled - 200 Gram Vinyl LP

"For vinyl collectors and Cameron Crowe lovers, alike, this is a must have. It's a limited edition two LP-set with extras. They all come with a special surprise or memorabilia from the film. Mine came with a "Stillwater" Poster. Here's the kicker though... You know "Stillwater," the faux rock band from the film (lead singer Jason Lee)? There are six songs by them. If you like vinyl, and good music,..."

Say Anything - DVD

"Before Cameron Crowe made his fortune with Jerry McGuire, there was this little film. (Of course, "Singles" is a pretty good Cameron Crowe movie too, but the chances of "cuddly-time" aren't as high with that film as they are with this one.) Chicks may love Meg Ryan movies, but it's our guess they'll love this one also. This is by far one of the best romantic tear jerkers of the 80's! It's so sweet..."

"I'd like to introduce you to Cameron Crowe. Through an all-star cast and perfectly crafted soundtrack, he'll invite you to join his past world, touring the U.S. with the band Stillwater in the early '70s. Perfect for those of you who were once groupies, still are, or still dream."
Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto by Chuck Klosterman

"Easily my favorite pleasure read. I couldn't put this book down once I started the first sentence. It is a collection of essays on pop culture and America. It is a manifesto for "Gen X-ers" and though I am not one of them I really relate to and enjoy Klosterman's take on what it is like to grow up and enter adulthood these days. My favorite chapter is the one about John Cusack - you'll love it too..."

"A few weeks back I watched "Singles" for the first time in long while; it's sooooo dated, but still great. While "Almost Famous" is still probably my favorite Cameron Crowe movie, this one gets serious points for nostalgia and makes me want to head up to my parents' attic when I'm home for Thanksgiving to try to dig up all my old flannel shirts. Matt Dillon's character still makes me swoon, as do ..."
