"My brother says that the blackened chain mail coif was the staple of many suits of armor in the Medieval era. I've seen him wear his and it really does look like he stepped right out of history. He says its very comfortable to wear for long durations. He also said that it is excellent for LARP and SCA events, though I'm not sure what those are ;-)"

"My brother says that you are trying to portray a noble at a Renaissance faire, Medieval reenactment, or other such event, that you will want to have one of these Medieval plated brass chain mail coifs.
