Yours, Mine and Ours (1968)

"I saw this movie as a kid and thought it was hilarious. My love for it was resurrected when I found a copy in a five dollar bin over the holidays. It is truly a classic and will keep you laughing the whole way through."
I'm With Lucy
1 recommendation
"Which one will she pick? This is a fun movie to watch with girlfriends because it leaves you guessing until the very end. Lucy has to go on five blind dates after being dumped by her long-term boyfriend at the start of the movie. In the end, she marries one her blind dates. My favorite is the John Hannah character. He's so sweet!"
The Very Thought of You

"I have seen this movie hundreds of times. It is such a sweet story. Plus, it has three sexy British men in it. Who doesn't love that? It's not really the most creative of storylines, but the actors bring the characters to life so wonderfully, that the lack of creativity doesn't seem to matter. I root for the leads the whole time while feeling sorry for the supporting cast at the same time."
The Odd Couple - The First Season

"Amazon.com Jack Klugman and Tony Randall give an advanced course in chemistry in the auspicious first season of The Odd Couple, which would only get better as the veteran character actors made themselves at home in their signature roles and the series switched from a laugh track to a live audience. In these first episodes, The Odd Couple hews pretty much to the voice and spirit of Neil Simon's pl..."
Tootsie - 25th Anniversary Edition
1 recommendation
"I recently pulled this one out from the back of the cabinet, dusted it off and tossed it into the DVD for a moviefest night with my kids. God, I can't believe I had forgotten how great it is! The kids have requested it a few times since so it is definitely one of the flicks that retains its charm from one generation to the next."
The Muppet Show - Season Two
1 recommendation
"As one of the best shows that ever aired on television, The Muppets has certainly solidified their place in pop culture as the most popular puppets known to mankind. Relive your childhood or introduce them to your own children with this box set where Peter Sellars, George Burns and Bob Hope guest stars. The Muppets Show, a variety show where jokes are always funny. "Whocka whocka whocka!""

Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy

"I love Will Ferrell. LOVE. And I know it's not super cultured, or refined, but Anchorman is one of my favorite comedies ever. It got panned, but this movie makes me laugh ever. single. time. Christina Applegate is a great straight-woman, and as always Steve Carell is side-splitting hysterical. Hats off to two classic comedic actors Will Ferrell and Steve Carell for going outside their comfort ..."
father of the bride 1950

"Vincent Minnelli's warm and wonderful look at a fathers anxiety over the wedding of his beloved daughter. Spencer Tracy is great and Elizabeth Taylor is beautiful in this comedy from 1950."
Little Miss Sunshine

"Dysfunctional family comedy. Great dark humor and satire, poking fun at beauty pageants, motivational speaking and much more. Greg Kinnear and Steve Carell headline a great cast."

Malcolm in the Middle
1 recommendation
"In my mind, Malcolm in the Middle is literally the funniest comedy on television. It's the only show that makes me guffaw out loud. The cast and writing is consistently genius. (hello!! Chloris Leachman is a guest star!) Justin Berfield (Reece) and Bryan Cranston (Hal) in particular are not at all as recognized as they should be for their amazing comedic performances. I'll be sad to see it go, bu..."
Death to Smoochy

"This movie was panned by the critics but I found it hysterical. It doesn't hurt that I'm a big fan of Catherine Keener and Ed Norton. Ed plays his characters with such sincerity that you have to believe that in real life he's a nice guy. If you're in a silly mood and ready for some campy humor give Smoochy a chance."

"Great review! I'm so grateful that people get the point of this game! I created it to bring movies to the people and get them watching and talking. I feel very validated and grateful. Thank you. Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask
1 recommendation
"As always Woody Allen manages to be both wildly intelligent and just plain wacky at the same time. Many movies may deal with sex more directly or more graphically (there is only one breast in the film, although it is massive) but none will deal with the topic with a better sense of humor."
Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996)
1 recommendation
"DBAM is a hilarious parody of all of the "old" urban dramas like Boyz in the Hood and Menace 2 Society. Starring the Wayans clan, it's what started all of the Scary and Date Movie spoofs."
