Love Arcade

"Love Arcade is a revolutionary mix of different genres of music. They tour with a full band, but the front man Christian Berishaj is the sole of Love Arcade's content. He wrote, recorded, produced, played, and sang everything on his debut. There are so many great tracks like Sara, Keep It Comin' and Party (featured on an episode of The Hills), but Moses is a track that I don't think got nearly ..."
Shontelligence - Shontelle

"Recreating Rihanna's success is going to be hard but Shontelle is going to give it a try. She's not my favourite artist but there's been a lot of buzz about her debut album. I love the song "T-Shirt" and "Battle Cry" is also really catchy. The latter was written for Barack Obama's campaign. She's a great songwriter so the album can't be all bad."
Shake Your Money Maker: The Black Crowes

"Terrific debut from the Crowes. Great songs with really catchy hooks. This album shot them right up the chart, especially with "She Talks to Angels". Here they were at their wiry best, before they wandered down the path of long guitar solos. They still had that Americana seed, but they were succinct and catchy."
Fever to Tell: Yeah Yeah Yeahs

"The Yeah Yeah Yeahs had a lot of indie cred behind them when they released their debut, and you can hear why. There's a ton of power in their music, and Karen O's delivery is great. "Maps" sounds like some kind of punk ballad ripped from the 70s, and the rest of the album keeps the rawness alive and kicking."

"The band formed in their Columbia dorm room...their stuff is Afrobeat meets '80s stuff! The music is fun, playful, pop-wise, and smart. Organ and drums are often the focal point of the music, bringing to mind a goofier but great album!"

"From eMusic genius Yancey Strickler: "it's basically the musical equivalent of that post-high school year in Europe, only rather than self-discovery in a German youth hostel, it's salvation through the hum of an EBow.""

"So you must be comfortable with bad words because Peaches does have a dirty mouth. The track "f!@#k the pain away" was featured in the movie Lost Translation, it's awesome! You just want to get up and dance away..uh huh!"
