DirecTV is a savior. Yes, redemption from the land of the cable monopoly. I love DirecTV, especially with a joint DirecTV - TiVo box. I get more for less money and I get better service. Oh, and the standard outages that I had with cable? No more.

"Note: I'm giving this the notthisnext tag... I can't recommend it right now. I bought the Samsung 46" 1080p LCD a couple of weeks ago and I was of course very depressed after getting it that I had no HD signals coming into the TV. Without HD signals coming in your HDTV is a Ferrari you can only drive up and down your driveway. So, I dropped a couple of hundred bucks on a Direct TV HD setup. ..."
