Chuck Ragan is that rarest of things...a gifted songwriter, accomplished musician, and a truly wonderful human being.

It's hard for us not to be biased about Chuck...he's a good friend. But his music stands on it's own, and our love for Chuck the Guy is completely unnecessary to appreciate Chuck...more the Musician.

Feast or Famine is his first full-length after leaving Hot Water Music to spend more time with his wife and just sorta shift gears. He's put down the Les Paul and picked up a battered old acoustic and a tarnished harmonica and traded his amps for a stripped-down honesty that you don't find much of in modern music.

If you're a fan of country, acoustic, bluegrass, mountain music, or just sitting on your porch on a lazy afternoon and watching the world roll by in the company of friends, this album is for you.
