You know you're wearing awesome shoes when you're dancing on the bar at some tawdry nightclub and the first thing you hear is "Awesome shoes!"

The Gola Cue came to me in a vision several years ago; I imagined my ideal sneaker, and it was a bright, lightweight, thin sneaker that came in four bold ...morecolors: blue, yellow, green, and orange. I would own one of each color and would go gallivanting around town in them, much to the envy of various passers-by. Imagine my surprise when I was in San Francisco this past summer and saw the very shoe I envisioned, only better; in addition to being a bright, lightweight, thin sneaker, the Gola Cue is generously accented with patent leather in the primary color, giving the shoe a dimension that my feverish, fantastical imagination couldn't even conceive. Incredible. I bought two pairs on the spot and ordered the third color (not available at the store, sad to say) as soon as I found it online. (The only part of my fantasy that wasn't fulfilled was the fact that the Gola Cue doesn't come in orange! I wonder what Freud would have to say about that.)

Available in blue, yellow, and green. But not orange.
