If you've read any of my other blurbs, you can tell that my two passions are sports and kids. I played soccer from the time I was 5 (we were called the shorts) all the way through 6th grade. And we were good. We won the title every year. Many of my team-mates went onto bigger and brighter soccer...more dreams. I hung up my cleats knowing that soccer, for me, was a childhood experience and one I'd always treasure. That's how I feel about my daughter Erin. When she first came home and said they played soccer at PE, I acted as the impulsive dad I normally am and went out and bought a kid's ball. Now, I'm her coach and loving every minute of it.
