Foreign Film-A Tale of Two Sisters

"To make this a well rounded list I should have a least one horror movie on here so I'm picking another Korean foreign film that seriously creeped me out, but then again that is not really hard to do"
Funny Games (2008)

"It's is literally a shot for shot remake of the 1997 Austrian horror film, only with different actors and translated to English. All be honest in saying thought I thought it was kind of stupid at first (most people didn't like it at all). However, once I figured out what it was all about, it quickly became one of my favorite recent horror films."

"How do you kill an undead evil murderer in a toy's body? You don't! Bwa ha ha ha ha. This is sure to give lots of people nightmares. Go ahead, wear it, but don't say I didn't warn you."
Saw Puppet Mask

"YAY SAW! Ok it's a horrifyingly gory and scary movie, but it's so good in those areas, and what a twist! Now you can be just like jigsaw, but please don't play games of life or death."
Alien

"I remember watching this Ridley Scott sci-fi horror when it first came out and it terrified me to no end. Had nightmares for weeks. But also definitely a terrifyingly fun movie to watch with a group."
A Nightmare on Elm Street

"Another oldie but goodie and certainly seems tame compared to all the torture porn taking over the horror genre today but is still fun to watch. And poor Johnny Depp. No one that cute should get offed in such a way."
Ms. Krueger Naughty Nightmare Adult Costume

"Oh Ms. Krueger, you can haunt my dreams any time you want. Seriously, if you were a guy and woke up with slashes on your back from her... you'd be bragging."
The Devil's Rejects (Unrated Widescreen Edition)

"Usually I'm not a big fan of these gross-out type of horror films but this one was a guilty and disturbing pleasure. Lots of terrifying moments that's sure to make your party guests squeal."
American Psycho (Uncut Killer Collector's Edition)

"Christian Bale is the sexiest yuppie of all. He is smart, successful and has great status in social circles... we'll just forget about the fact that he is also a psychotic killer who rapes, murders and dismembers both strangers and acquaintances without provocation or purpose. Learn from his success not his failures."

"One of the very few sequels that may have actually surpasses the original. How can you go wrong with a rag tag group of bad ass space marines?"

"Awesome monster movie. And even though lots of people got sickened by the way this movie was shot, I thought it offered a refreshing take on the monster movie genre. Love movies that make you leave the theater thinking about it some more."
Oldboy DVD

"It would be a sin to reveal too much about this riveting and bizarre thriller from Korean director Chan Wook Park, except to say that it's about a man named Dae-Su (Choi Min-Sik) who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years without knowing his captor's motives. When he is finally released, Dae Su finds himself still trapped in a web of conspiracy and strangeness. His own quest for vengeance becomes ..."
The Fury DVD (1978)

"Fox 2000 is set to bring Brian De Palma’s “The Fury” back to the bigscreen. The label has tapped Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman to pen a contemporary reimagining of the 1978 supernatural horror film. New version will center on a young man with heightened kinetic powers who is abducted by the government in order to take advantage of his special gifts. Original, starring Kirk Douglas and John Cas..."
Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll: The Official Website

"Unlike capturing images from life, personal visions of imagination are constantly shifting and are by nature finicky and nearly impossible to access or capture. In "Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll" Marilyn Manson, his magicians Alain de la Mata, Steven Klein and Benoît Debie evoke the sleepless heartache which once clung to the personality Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll). Personal..."

"Here is a classic Bette Davies and Joan Crawford movie about a crazy old woman who takes care of her handicap famous sister. In this twisted horror favorite, Bette Davies become enraged with jealousy as her sister (Crawford) becomes the spot light of attention."
Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte

"In this crazy film, a woman is shunned by the townsfolk after the mysterious axe-murder of her late lover. When her jealous cousin and her cousin's wily husband arrive for a visit, the two conspire to drive Charlotte insane and have her committed so the two can sell off her estate and pocket the proceeds. This is a classic Bette Davies film and one of my favorites."

"I only dared to watch this when it was edited for TV but I think I could step up to the theatrical release version. Not ready for the unrated version yet though. From what I saw it was terrifying."
Dead Alive

"You are silly if you pass up Peter Jackson's masterpeice "Dead Alive", also known as "Brain Dead". A great zombie film including a zombie priest and an old woman stomping on a monkey's head. The violence is so fake though, people will be laughing more than screaming. Which is a good thing. You'll love it."
28 Days Later (2003)

"I do not tend to think of myself as a fan of the horror movie genre, much less of the zombie subgenre. However, I really enjoyed 28 Days Later. It's probably because I am very much a fan of the "last humans alive at the end of the world" features and this film did an excellent job of portraying one of these scenarios."

"Meet the perfect Halloween toy. Precisely the type of toy that you want your children playing with. It's a Zombie stuffed animal that you can dismember. I mus admit, it's a pretty genius design."
Jeepers Creepers

"I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. It was funny and soo scary. I watched its edited version on the Sci-Fi Channel or something like that. I don't think I have the guts to watch it alone. But in a party setting, for sure! Oh, and the Mac kid (Justin Long) is pretty good in this."
