Chocolate Covered Gummy Bears

"I ordered the white chocolate variety of these a few months back, and fell in gummy love. I love all chocolate, but have a weakness in the white chocolate arena more than any other. I wanted to order these milk chocolate covered gummy bears as Christmas gifts for some peeps at work, but of course had to try them myself first ;) Needless to say, if you dip a gummy bear in chocolate, it's a really g..."

Chef's Pencil Set

"I'm a bit of a whackjob when it comes to hostess gifts. Finding creative ones is a borderline fetish for me. So I immediately fell for these on Etsy- can you IMAGINE how great they'd be paired with gorgeous recipe cards? I'm whipping myself into a frenzy just thinking about it."
Marconi Gourmet Oils
1 recommendation
"Now that my friends and I are getting a little more grown-up, we're trying to match some of the gifts we give to our adult status. (I still eat Happy Meals though, I don't care how close I am to 30!) I came across these gourmet oil sets and ordered a few as small Christmas gifts. I don't have the mad money I once did to splurge on every one of my friends, but I like to bring something nice when I ..."

large (custom) lucite tray
1 recommendation
"I can't do this item justice here. There are way too many color, personalization and design options to tell you about. You should just abandon me right now and go check the site out for yourself. What I can say is that things like this make me want to get remarried. For the registry alone. {square also available}"
{custom} salt and pepper shakers
1 recommendation
"A spankin' good hostess gift, bridal party favor or wedding present, for starters. Don't think you have to stop at a monogram- oh my, no no no. You can do a couple's names, words, fancy scripts... the color and design choices are spectacular and the price is lovely for this level of customization."
STILETTO Vodka
1 recommendation
"What else would an entirely woman-owned spirits company name its product? Also available in chocolate, vanilla and mint flavors, the brand donates 25 cents from each bottle to support breast cancer research and another 25 cents goes to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. In that case, I'll sip to that."
Antique Grooved Onion Ornament
1 recommendation
"If your hostess is me, this is a great idea for a gift. Even if I'm NOT hosting whatever fete it is you're attending, this is still a great gift. Who doesn't like pretty glass things? The "grooved onion," ball, swirled ball, antique finial, or mini set would all be a fab idea wrapped in a cute way, and inexpensive to boot! Which is smart thinking if you, like me, have a jam packed holiday soci..."
Breakfast basket
1 recommendation
"If you know it's going to be a rager or that your hostess will have a mean case of dishpan hands from cleaning up the night before, why not take a little stress out of her day by offering to make breakfast? You don't even have to be there. * please note that Dunkin donuts or pastries from your favorite bakery are acceptable alternatives to freshly made scones and preserves if you say, have a day..."

Spiced Pecans
1 recommendation
"Spiced nuts are an outrageously tasty and easy gift, even for those of you out there who don't cook much. All you have to do here is measure and not burn. Tricky yes, but SO worth the results. Perfect to bring to dinner parties for your host/hostess."

Chocolate Chip Cookies in a Jar
1 recommendation
"Another great gift option for the crafty/bakey among us. This can easily be subbed out for other specialties you may make if chocolate chip is just too vanilla for you. It's almost like giving away delicious baked goods, but with far less work on your end. Score!"
Air Plant City - Tillandsia For Sale
1 recommendation
"Want to thank someone with the gift of life? Don't kill yourself donating eggs (or sperm) or feel pressured to offer yourself up as a surrogate. Get them an airplant! It doesn't even matter if they don't have a green thumb, these little babies live on AIR. You'd practically have to try to kill them. And if your friend is trying to kill the airplant you got for them, you should be glad you opt..."
Pie in a Jar

"If you're crafty and/or into baking, and your giftee has a sweet tooth and is into the whimsy, this is a perfect option. I got my best friend "Pie in a Jar" once as a gift because I thought it was absolutely hilarious and bizarre and now it's like, a thing. "Again, if you feel the need to go with a nice safe, candle/soap option as a hostess gift, why not up the ante and get her one of these collections? Then she gets soap AND a candle! And other stuff too!"
Nerola Orange Blossom Spray Perfume
1 recommendation
"The lady you're shopping for may not be as huge a Nerola Orange Blossom fan as I am, but if she is, sweet mother Mary, this stuff is fantastic. All of Pacificas fragrances are rich and dreamy - really good quality stuff for the price."
Patchouli Lavender Vanilla Body Scrub
2 recommendations
"Their signature fragrance is a favorite, but when pressed to select just one to purchase or use in the hand washing well in the center of the store I really struggle. They all smell amazing. Lemon Mint is a great pick for guys - maybe he'll actually use it and not be such a scratchy beast."
Sabon
1 recommendation
"Another fantastic gift option are the soaps, candles and scrubs from Sabon in New York. A trip to the shop starts with a hand washing in the well in the center of the room, followed by moisturizing. It's practically a spa treatment. I highly recommend one of the scrubs and the organic butter cream lotion. Decadent."
Home Grown Soap by longwinterfarm on Etsy
1 recommendation
"If you're going to gift someone with the gift of lye, for the love of clean and supple hands, please go with some nice, kick ass soap and not that yummy smelling orange blossom one from Trader Joe's. I swear this soap cured my skin woes after a few days of use. It's MAGIC and the fragrances are to die for."
