"The Mac Pros are great machines. However sometimes you just need a little more ram then you started with. If you purchase your RAM from Apple you pay a huge premium. Consider - for 16GB of RAM (8x2GB) Apple charges $3500 but if you buy the memory directly it costs $1040. You pay 336% EXTRA to have Apple put the ram into your machine. Crazy!
