2009 was a big year for black faces on the news stand, I'm still not sure who got move magazine covers, President Obama or Michael Jackson. One of my favorite MJ covers is Wax Poetics Issue 37, featuring Mike looking at us in the eye, makes you wonder what was on his mind.
