Claudine
1 recommendation
"This is a classic film done with care. I first saw this film when I was child with my family. Claudine is a period piece that deserves to be viewed. Diahn Carol and James Earl Jones give strong perfomances as two people trying to build a life together. The soundtrack which was done by Motown greats "Gladys Knight and the Pips" was played in our household many times."
The Candidate

"A movie about the campaign process. Robert Redford plays a man running for senate in this great movie."

"Six high school friends who manage to stay together despite marriage, bankruptcy, distance and time. As you might expect from the title, some of the best, most honest and funniest scenes occur in the diner they haunt (now know to be the Fells Point Diner in Baltimore, Maryland). A guy's guy movie that girls will love too."
Paris When It Sizzles

"I adore all things Audrey Hepburn... which might have something to do with my absolute lust for all things Tiffany & Co. (but maybe that's because I also love shiny, shimmery, sparkly things). Anyway, I haven't seen this movie yet, and it's had mixed reviews... but I'm sure that Audrey pulled it off regardless."
Tin "Steam Boat"
1 recommendation
"This tin boat runs on the steam produced by a small candle placed in the holder. It reminds me of those old movies you see where a kid in Central Park is playing with a beautiful wooden sailboat he bought at a dime store, and instead of thinking about whether George Peppard is about to get killed by a private dick over his illicit affair with the highly underrated Patricia Neal, you're thinking - ..."
Harold and Maude

"This beautifully shot romance captures the hope of the flower children, bordering occasionally (or consistently) on the syruppy and sentimental. No matter, though - the Cat Stevens soundtrack puts you in the mood to be indoctrinated, and the adorably morose Bud Cort plays a welcome foil to Ruth Gordon's blissed out octogenarian."
Pillow Talk: Movie

"The ultimate romantic comedy. Even though I never really manage to like Rock Hudson's slimeball character, the movie is darling. And Doris Day's wardrobe is fabulous."
Arsenic and Old Lace

"Frank Capra's wonderful hilarious romp. Cary Grant, Peter Lorre, Raymond Massey, and Jack Carson are all at their best in film based on a broadway show. Cary Grant discovers that his two kind old aunts have killed thirteen men and hidden their bodies about the house."
Breakfast at Tiffany's

"I can never ever EVER get tired of watching this perfect film."
Double-Breasted Belted Trench Coat
1 recommendation
"Stunning classic trench coat. Makes me think of all those old movies where the heroine always looks fabulous. Toss this coat over any thing at all and know you look great. Very sexy."
"Attack of Literacy!" - T-shirt by Joshua Kemble

"I love the theme of this Tee. It's perfect for anyone who loves reading/writing (but not necessarily 'rithmetic)."
Long Black Gloves
1 recommendation
"Definitely need long black gloves to go with that dress and tiara to look like little Miss Holly."
Paul Newman T-shirt

"I have always wanted to walk around with Paul Newman on my chest (or at least in some close proximity) and now I can. he's so dreamy."
