Pinot Blanc

"The Pinot Blanc made in the Alasatian region in France is one of their top sellers. A smooth , dry, sweet taste makes it a favorite of locals and wine lovers across the world. It you havn't picked up a bottle, right now is the perfect time. France is perhaps the best place to produce wine, and Pinot Blanc is one of their best."
Barrique Wine Decanter with Cork Ball Lid
2 recommendations
"Why I love this? Because it's round, round, round... And may be if you rub it and open the cork, you will find a genie...NOT. :) Honestly, that's what I thought of the first time I saw it. Genie in a bottle. This unique Barrique Wine Decanter has a cork lid so it's perfect since I am sometimes confused what to do with the leftover wine in a wine decanter without a lid."
Robert Sinskey Vineyards Pinot Blanc Los Carneros
1 recommendation
"This is a Pinot Blanc that sets the benchmark for all others despite it only being a half bottle size. The only problem is that it tends to sell out right away."

2006 Melville Estate Pinot Noir – Verna's Vineyard

"Melville makes great terroir driven wines just north of Santa Barbara in Lompoc. Their focus is Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay and represent great value for the quality. I especially enjoy the clean style of the Pinot Noir's, definitively Californian with pure fruit, but not over the top."

"for pinot lovers this wine has won many awards. it's a balanced acidity layered of complexity and firm tannins which allow graceful aging, high expression, and the inaugural of the land's end merlot."

""Unoaked, crisp and refreshing. Aromas of apple and citrus fruits. Elements of ginger spice, nectarine and lemon chiffon on the palate. The finish ends dry with a note of vanilla spice. Pairing suggestinos: polenta, pesto and sun-dried tomato pasta, fish tacos." Yum! This wine is organic and vegan which means its eco-friendly and no animal products were used during it's production. A great ..."
San Simeon Monterey Pinot Noir 2006
1 recommendation
"I find that one of the flavors I tend to prefer in wines, and part of my fascination with red wines in general, is the taste of cherry. This wine was satisfactory, very warm and with that fruit flavor I like, without being sweet."

Clos du Bois Pinot Grigio 2006
1 recommendation
"I had this one at Palamino over in Westwood. I define this restaurant as "nice ambience, better than average food, better than average LA prices, but not one of my favorites." Regardless, I ordered the Clos du Bois Pinot Grigio and enjoyed it. I used to be a huge Pinot Grigio girl, but I got tired of either too dry or too fruity in the cheaper ones. This one gets my seal of approval though... now ..."
Fiddlehead Cellars Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Oldsville Reserve 2005
1 recommendation
"Willamette, dammit. :) This wine is delicious. Somewhat hard to come by, a little on the pricey side, but it just won't let you down. Unless you're the kind of red wine drinker who only likes 'em big and bold. This one's not big and bold, it's subtle and refined and happiness in a glass."

2006 Westrey "Reserve" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

"They say, "A barrel selection of the best of their single-vineyard pinots, this wine shows rich blueberry fruit with a touch of Oregon earthiness. This ripe fruit is balanced by great acidity and structure with fine tannins on the finish that show a great potential for ageing." 2007 Francis Coppola "Sofia" Carneros Pinot Noir Rosé

"They say, "This wine's seductive, feminine wiles will enchant you from the moment you pop the cork. A sparkling rosé with a strawberry and rose petal perfume followed by juicy flavors reminiscent of framboise, red cherry and citrus zing. It's fruity, but not cloying, crisp and refreshing. This is the perfect wine for imagining yourself at a beachfront café in the South of France." I say, "This ..."
