Maribou Jacket

"With this baby you'll be a hell of a lot more cute and cuddly than any of those Death Guild chicks. Just steer clear of the sparks on Burn night, 'cause smoking feathers can really stink."
Icosa Village Pods
3 recommendations
"The original iPod, the Pod homes from Icosa Village are prefab shelters made of plastic pieces that snap together like an Erector set. Easy to build with no need for special tools or skills, the Pods are extremely strong and yet very lightweight. Originally designed as more humane temporary shelter for displaced people in emergency situations, Pods were first tested at Burning Man. Gorgeous to ..."

"If you have the space, something like this is such a lovely way to escape to nature"
CYBER CLEAN Cleaning Compound
1 recommendation
"The new secret weapon for getting that rental (or borrowed) car back into returnable shape. Good for almost any crevice or cranny, this putty is especially great for buttons on your car console and those textured surfaces that always hang onto tell-take dust. Also great for your electronics, camera or other equipment. Just read the instructions before sticking it anywhere m'kay?"
Nose Pit mask
1 recommendation
"I haven't tried them yet, but I've seen them on the Playa. Basically a filter that you shove in your nostrils to block the dust. This could prove handy for normal days out and about. For dust storms I still recommend hunkering down and covering up."
Hot Chaps Set
1 recommendation
"If you've got the rear gear to pull it off, chaps on the playa are hot. Just remember to use sunscreen to avoid odd tan lines. (Note: This seller has several styles and colors. Take heed though that from a company called "Discount Stripper", you can figure out who is meant by "one size fits most".)"
Coghlans - Cooler Light
1 recommendation
"Ice may be about the only thing you can buy on the playa but it is still a pain to fetch. Keeping the cooler closed as much as possible slows the melting and conserves your ice. Thanks to the cooler light, I no longer have to juggle lid and flashlight or go cooler-fishing in the dark, searching for the right beverage. This is excellent."
Green LED Lightstring - Battery-operated
1 recommendation
"Just like Vegas, Burning Man is a different experience at night. Do your part and contribute. Invest in LED battery operated lights. They last longer and shine brighter than those Xmas lights you bought at the discount store last year. Put them on your bike or wrap them on your hat. Prevent a newbie hit and run, never leave camp un-illuminated."
Oval Marquee (13' x 18') - Ren Fair Tent
1 recommendation
"Geodomes are so 2000. Be the coolest one during the next dust storm and the place for the next sundowner cocktail hour! Toss in a couple of rugs, some cushy pillows and a lantern or two and you've got a tempting lair with which to lure the finest ladies and gents on the playa."
Beach Burner Portable Bonfire 24 inch Recycled Steel Fire Pit by johntunger
3 recommendations
"This is the manly-est Fire pit I've ever seen. Wicked cool."
Watchmen Movie Dr Manhattan Hands

"These are actually costume accessories, but they'd make great dishwashing gloves!!"
The Down Low Glow | Rock The Bike!
4 recommendations
"This set up helps illuminate the "down low" areas around your bike, giving your location more context for those who share the road with you. The only assembly required is the attachment to your bike. Every time I see a glow product I see a potential Burner trying to go mainstream with some cool idea that they originally cooked up for the playa. I think it's awesome. Let there be light! So compl..."
Houses | Tumbleweed Tiny House Company
2 recommendations
"Part of the challenge of Burning Man is selecting the right luxuries from what we call the analog (or "normal") world to bring with us: carpets, martini shakers, cushy air mattresses and duvets. With this option from the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company, you can take comfort and luxury to a whole new level without showing up in yet-another-RV. Screw that, you can bring your whole house...albeit a tin..."
Mehron Glitter Spray - Stage Make-up
1 recommendation
"The playa wouldn't be the playa without some glitter to snazz it up. Be sure that glimmer you have comes from something other than sweat. This professional formula knocks the pants off that kiddie stuff you bought at Target last year and it doesn't smell like plastic cherries. Finally, glitter for grownups!"
The Bloom Bicycle Bubble Blower
5 recommendations
"The Bloom device is meant to be a subversive and inspirational tool for our concrete jungles. Similar to the tuft of a dandelion as the wind carries the seedling, Bloom proposes a way of dispersing seedlings with bubbles and bicycling. Seeds are co-mingled with a bubble mixture and upon pedaling to your destination , you release the floating seeds which land in cracks and crevices throughout the c..."
Green Feather Lashes with Feathered Tips
1 recommendation
"These feather lashes are great for staying flashy despite layers of dust build-up. I suggest going for the bright and dramatic. Bring a variety and bring plenty, what with the wind, dust and all night romps these are destined for single-use. Screw green living, go green feather lashes!"
Outrageous Feather Lash Wings
1 recommendation
"I choose to ignore the ban on feathers when it comes to these eye candies. Sure feathers blow away and become a headache for the clean-up crew, but with the right glue these are bound not to leave your sight. Try and remember to take them off when you go (or fall) into bed, they have a tendency to travel and end up in weird places."
MENDEL'S - LONGER FAKE FURS!
1 recommendation
"If you've got the time, invest in making your own playa coat. Mendels has a good selection of fake fur to choose from. Sure, it may be easy to go buy one. And what's left over from your bonus is enough for a great costume fund. But is it really worth the risk of running into ten other weekend warriors in the same outfit at the Man? The answer you were looking for was 'No'. Now go pick out a pa..."
Moonbeam - Ultra Sexy Clubwear
1 recommendation
"You know you've got a good outfit at Burning Man when it feels as good as it looks. Here vampy meets versatile. In going for color, sparkle, shine and comfort, this dress makes the grade. The last thing you want is constricting fabric that will yank you up short when leaping onto an art car (both unsafe and very uncool)."
Fishnet Thigh Highs
2 recommendations
"At Burning Man fishnets aren't just stylish, they're practical: rip one to shreds and you get to keep the other leg. And if you take advantage of the 49 different colors offered here, you can go totally technicolor. Come on Rainbow Bright! Strut your stuff."
Thigh High Black Boots from Discount Stripper
1 recommendation
"Boots are sexy on the playa, but not if you're hobbling and wimpering the whole time you're wearing them. No matter what you choose, low heels are a must if you're plan on being able to walk the entire week. These thigh high models carry the extra bonus of lots of coverage, which will keep you warm on those chillier nights and solves that do-I-shave-today dilemma. Be sure to bring good socks!"
Springbar Camping Tents
1 recommendation
"The perfect tent for Burning Man can stand up to heavy, sudden wind storms, breathes well but keeps the dust out, and keeps cool enough during the day that you can duck in for a costume change without passing out. For these high standards, Spingbar tents seem to be the closest match that I've found so far. Some people may have issues about the fact that this thing weighs a ton, but unless you'r..."
PinQY Fire Extinguisher
4 recommendations
"The PinQY is a very small and portable fire extinguisher that is easy to use. It is able to be used even by children or the elderly. Its great to have a fire extinguisher wherever you go for safety and so you can stop fires while they are still small. Great for the car, the kitchen, and the garage."
IKEA MAMMUT STOOL
2 recommendations
"I know you're thinking. Ikea? Really? But you know what looks worse than mass-produced-yet-stylishly affordable swedish furniture? Camping gear. Bring as little as possible."
Rubber Ducky
1 recommendation
"You're going to need protection for everything you pound into the ground. After years of using tennis balls I can tell you from experience: Rubber Duckies just look cooler covering your tent stakes. And they come with a handy hole for impaling."
Pleated Turban
1 recommendation
"Whether you wash your hair once that week, every day, or not at all, if you have long hair, you're gonna wanna get it up and out of your face. It's hard to lounge in a cowboy hat. Here's your answer and it comes in lots of colors to choose from."
Stretch Go Go Boots in Retro Colors by Ellie Shoes
1 recommendation
"Save the flip flops for walking around camp and for shower hour. All other times call for boots. They're made for walking. That's just what they'll do."
Paper Lantern LED Lights Battery Operated RED
1 recommendation
"LEDs are brighter and, using less battery power, last longer. Available on this website in a variety of colors, you can illuminate your camp without torching it."
