Rain Hog Modular Rain Barrel

"i have seen a hundred rain barrels before - don't get me wrong they are all great but i am not really excited about looking at a big old barrel sitting next to my house....but check out these modular rain barrels - they can be stacked vertically or horizontally - so you can stack them under your deck or against the wall - finally a sensible option for all us ascetically modern folks"

"I think having any kind of rain barrel is a benefit, but for those that 'em usually want to push it further and further (especially those with a large garden). A 55 gallon barrel doesn't hold that much water (some say will fill in less than 5 minutes). For a much more elaborate plan, check out these guys. They have everything you need (for a price, of course). 30, 55, 75, 80, and (*gasp) 214-g..."

"I'm not sure about you, but I am constantly watering parts of my garden here in Ohio. This attaches to your gutter, then you attach a hose to it. For those that don't have a rain barrel or those that do - use on a part of the house where there isn't one. They say 1" of water gives you 1,000 gallons of water. Conservation and saving money at its best."

"We waste enough water on a daily basis as it is. It's quite costly too. So don't waste something as natural, free and (depending where you live) abundant as rainwater! Catch and conserve rainwater for your lovely garden or lawn with a rain barrel for those dry summer seasons. And don't forget to wash your car with it once in a while."

King Island Cloud Juice

"Brilliant! a water called Cloud Juice, could only come from Australia. Australia's original inhabitants, known as Australian Aborigines, have the longest continuous cultural history in the world, with origins dating back to the last Ice Age. This however, has nothing to do with Cloud Juice water, which is rainwater collected in King Island, off the coast of Tasmania. Sadly I didn't know this ev..."
Rainwater Hog, Olive - Design Within Reach

"When Sydney-based architect and designer Sally Dominguez was told it was impossible to fit a water storage tank under her small garden deck, she designed her own. The Rainwater Hog (2006) is a small-scale modular storage tank for collecting rainwater that can be reused for watering plants, washing the car or whatever you need. “I was surprised to find the urban dweller had been completely overlook..."
