Mona Lisa: 11-20-79
1 recommendation
"Mona Lisa was probably one of the most talented singers to come out around the era that Brandy, Monica, and Aaliyah were all getting their start but unlike the others she fell short of becoming a superstar but her album is full of amazing songs and she has a beautiful voice!"
J'son
1 recommendation
"J'son was only 14 when he released this album. I was even younger but I remember it like it was yesterday! It was one of my favorite albums. I loved "Take A Look" which was the first single and a remake of the song "I Can't Go For That". J'son later became a member of 3rd Storee when his solo career didn't work out."
Young Rome: Food For Thought
1 recommendation
"Young Rome was a member of the super popular R&B boy band, Immature (later known as IMx). I was obsessed with them as a little girl, but as an adult, I honestly wasn't expecting much from his first solo album as a rapper but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a fun album and he doesn't take himself too seriously. A lot of great party songs!"
Mila J: Split Personality
1 recommendation
"Split Personality was to be the solo release for Mila J who had previously been in a couple of ill-fated girl groups before hand. It was completed but for some reason, the album never came out. However, several of the would've-been tracks are out there on the web."
3rd Storee: Get With Me
1 recommendation
"Get With Me was the second album from 3rd Storee. Though the group was very talented, it wasn't well received throughout. I think it's a great album. My favorite song is the soulful ballad "I'm Sorry"."
O'Ryan
1 recommendation
"O'Ryan's album was full of good songs and he has a great voice and loads of talent but he was forced in the shadow of his older brother, B2K's Omarion. Unfortunately, the lead single never got popular and the album was forgotten."
Quindon
1 recommendation
"Quindon has a beautiful voice and this is one album that I've always been able to listen to from beginning to end. Even today, it still doesn't get old and this came out in 1995! My favorite song is "Dream About You" and "Wrap Your Heart Around Mine"."
So Uncool: Keke Palmer
1 recommendation
"I love this CD! Keke Palmer is a beautiful, talented actress as we all know from Akeelah and the Bee, but she's also a very talented singer as well. Although some of the lyrics may seem very Disney friendly (she is only 14 after all) she has a lot of soul and also some very personal moments. The album if full of great beats, dance tunes, and a few ballads. My personal favorites are "Rainbows" and ..."
Legend - The Best Of Bob Marley And The Wailers

"Growing up in the Caribbean Bob Marley was a huge part of my early music education. You know all the songs, you know all the words. And this collection is the best."
Jhene: No L.O.V.E.
1 recommendation
"No L.O.V.E. is a catchy song. Jhene actually has a slew of pop, R&B tracks floating around the web that are pretty good."
