"I guess I'm in the mood for the absurd: a Nintendo controller soap, an iPod soap. These somehow manage to escape the label 'kitch' and move into the category of 'geek cool'."
Grand Pianist - piano by Sega Toys
3 recommendations
"The Sega grand piano is anything but grand in size. This miniature piano is grand in sound though. It is like a mini player piano. The piano is able to be played since all 88 mini keys work. It also has an SD slot to expand on the included 100 songs. As it plays the keys move along with the music."
Sega Dreamcast Console
1 recommendation
"I'm really starting to realize that all these new consoles really aren't worth it. Yeah I recommended the PS3, so what?!? The Sega Dreamcast came out before PS2 and XBOX but honestly it probably looks just as good. Plus this thing cost $19. It is definitely, definitely worth the price and I will probably purchase one for my next dorm room."
Iron Man for Nintendo Wii
1 recommendation
"Ironman + Nintendo Wii seems like a worthwhile marriage. Though this is based on the movie, it includes plotlines from the comic. Might need to lobby to get this one in the ThisNext office."
The Club - PS3

"Probably not a game for little kids. You control one of 8 highly trained fighters and have to use an arsenal of weapons to mercilessly kill your way through the underworld. It has over 40 single player levels and expansive interactive environments."

Virtua Fighter 5 (PlayStation 3)
1 recommendation
"Virtua Fighter is a classic 3D video games series from Sega whose success was able to carry them to a 5th edition. This is a great fighting game made even better by the PS3's superior beast-like engine. It gives Street Fighter a run for its money."

Sonic Mega Collection (PS2)

"Sonic was the long-time poster boy of the Sega console series; their equivalent of Nintendo's Super Mario. This Sonic Mega Collection is a complete library of Sonic titles across several gaming systems. It delivers 20 classic Sonic titles in this one game. Good stuff. I still don't know what the hell a hedgehog is though."
Sega Mega Drive Portable Video Game Player

"This portable handheld device contains 20 of the best Sega Genesis games. Games like Sonic and Knuckles, Ecco the Dolphin, Golden Axe, and many more. It runs on AAA batteries. You are able to connect it to the TV via a TV out connector and use headphones instead of the built in speakers as well if you wish. Great for those of us who grew up with the Sega or for your kids. All of these games are gr..."
Sega Genesis / NES Gen-X Dual Station System
1 recommendation
"Okay okay, I'll admit it! I still have and use my Sega Genesis and Nintendo. So if your console has broken and you still have games this is a pretty inexpensive way to be able to use them. I have also found that kids still like these games too. I introduced my nephew to one of the original Mario games and we had a hard time pulling him away. Even with their dated looks, they are still great games."
Arcade Legends Genesis

"Childhood was a wonderful time for me. Yes I wasted away most of it inside of my house playing with my Sega Genesis, but none the less, it was a great time. This product brings back some of those great memories with a tiny Genesis replica containing some of the top games from back in the day and also a Sega controller."
