"Dark and brooding, "Superunknown" reminds me that I am not the only one who struggles to understand this thing we call life. "Black Hole Sun" may be the most widely recognized song from this particular album, but I love the lyrics and mood of "The Day I Tried to Live.""

"Supergroup of ex-Rage Against the Machine members and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden. Their first album is full of great rock and roll. Tons of energy and really great hooks, it's a radio friendly album that doesn't disappoint. Later on, the group's songs might tend more towards bombast and ballads, here they're winnowed down and making fine rock and roll."
