KENT - Tillbaka till samtiden

"Being a huge fan of KENT I can't say that I've ever been disappointed by any of their releases. The latest installment in their collection is Tilbaka till samtiden isn't a huge departure in from their previous release, Du og Jag Døden (one of my all-time favourite albums) but still delivers interesting and energetic tracks. If you've never heard anything by Kent before, I would say they sound li..."
Black & White Album The Hives
1 recommendation
"If the rest of this album is as awesome as the single, Tick Tick Boom (which how can you not love that name?) then Sweden's fantabulous Hives have another winner on their hands! You can check out the single Tick Tick Boom, which is currently being played on Little's Steven's Underground Garage station on Sirius Satellite Radio."
THE MEN: THE MEN
1 recommendation
"These amazing Swedes are part of that they call the neo-mod movement. If you love early Who and Rolling Stones, you are sure to love these guys! There must be something in the water, because every Swedish band I hear just rocks their asses off! These guys are no different!"
Diamond Dogs - Bound to Ravage
1 recommendation
"Early material from one of my fav. bands on the planet, Sweden's Diamond Dogs. If you love the Faces, etc. you will definitely love the Diamond Dogs. My fav. song on this one is the title track, Bound to Ravage. It has a mean slide guitar that I just adore!"
Maryslim - Maryslim

"Yes they are from Sweden and yes they rock! Think AC/DC (Bon Scott era (as if there was any other) meets early KISS. With that being said these guys definitely have their own unique sound. This is a great CD from start to finish!"
The Soundtrack of Our Lives - Origin, Vol. 1
1 recommendation
"Yet another amazing Swedish rock band. These is my fav. CD by them. They can rock hard yet are melodic at the same time. If my life had a soundtrack, Mother One Track Mind would be on it."
Hardcore Superstar - Bad Sneakers and a Pina Colada
1 recommendation
"Another fantastic Swedish rock band. They are heavy yet melodic at the same time. The don't have quite the same punk edge as my beloved Backyard Babies, but they rock just the same. This is their first CD, and my favorite by them. My fav. songs are You Will Never Know and Bubblecum Ride. I also like Liberation (and I really, really hate slow songs...however this one is slow yet it rocks....no slow..."
Backyard Babies - Total 13

"This is one of my favorite all time CD's. It never ever leaves my car (and is also on my computer and iPod). If you have never heard of the Backyard Babies, I'm here to tell you they are Swedish, they rock harder than any band I know of and they are just fantastic. While all of their CD's are great, this one is my favorite. The singer Nicke's voice sounds similar to Mike Ness (although he definite..."
As Your Greens Turn Brown

"I am a huge fan of Swedish rock (Backyard Babies, Hellacopters, Hardcore Superstar, to name but a few). Diamond Dogs are one of my favorites! Somehow it seems that here in the States we have forgotten how to have fun and just ROCK! Well, these guys never forgot. If you take a good dose of the Stones circa Exlie on Main Street and mix with some Faces you will get an idea of what the Diamond Dogs so..."
Young & Armed: Sugarplum Fairy
1 recommendation
"What can you expect from the Swedish pop-rock band Sugarplum Fairy? Catchy pop-rock songs with an boy-bandish feel but lyrics and domain that stretch far beyond what's typical for this genre. For variety's sake, listen to 'Stay Young', 'Sail Beyond Doubt', and 'Sweet Jackie'. If you like Sugarplum Fairy, definitely listen to 'Marigold', 'She' and 'Last Chance' off of their other albums."
The Flaming Sideburns - Save Rock 'n' Roll
1 recommendation
"This is like a rapid fire machine gun assault of rock and roll! Yet more proof of why Sweden rocks hard!"
Super$hit 666

"Ginger (from the Wildhearts) and Dregen (from Backyard Babies) together!! Does life get any better? I don't think so!"
