"It's hard to call this a recommendation, but hey, U2 has a new album. I'll keep it at that."

"The Cranberries fell off after the 90's but their stuff in that timeperiod is among the best to come from the decade. "Zombie" is one of my favorite songs of all-time. Though some of her lyrics make me go "huh" sometimes, Dolores O'Riordan's voice is haunting and earthy yet pleasant (some of the more tormented vocalists make you feel like it's time to throw yourself off a cliff)."
The Cranberries - Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? (1991-1993)

"Wistful. That's the way I would describe the music of The Cranberries. But it is the voice of Dolores O'Riordan that truly raises the roof on each and every one of their songs. So the wistfulness becomes hypnotic with the addition of O'Riordan's richly powerful voice. I've already been hooked."
Empire Records: The Soundtrack

"A totally great indie movie and terrific soundtrack. This movie made being a music geek cool for me. With songs by the Gin Blossoms, The Cranberries, Better than Ezra, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Cracker just to name a few, this is a kick-ass compilation if you're into 90s music. With the incredibly catchy "Sugarhigh" as the albums capping track."
