Drying out your tofu with stacks and stacks of paper towels certainly isn't good for the planet. But fear no more, tofu-lovers and tree-huggers, we’ve got the device for you... thanks to the ingenuity of Quirky members Mark and Aja Bogdanoff!

Check it out – not only have we made the first ever tofu press, but we’ve made this thing totally quirky, cool, and compact. All interior parts are dishwasher safe. The cutting mechanism is made of wires rather than blades to prevent injury. This thing will dice a whole block of tofu in one second with one press of the handle. If that’s not enough for you, we’ve added non-slip feet to keep the press from sliding on wet kitchen counters and a non-slip grip on the handle to prevent your hand from slipping during press. Locking mechanisms can be set to your desired pressure and easily released. Oh and don’t forget, Pressto allows you to you to use virtually any size and thickness of tofu because we know some of you like it bigger... bigger pieces of tofu that is.

So let the inner hippie out of us all - the Pressto is great for vegetarians, vegans, flexetarians, and the tofu-eating meat-lovers too. Oh, and feel free to use the Pressto for pressing water out of anything really, maybe water out of your frozen veggies!
