This is what I think of when I think of a daybed. It's practically a couch...except, except it's big an cosy. Who doesn't want to curl up with a good book on a couch that you can fall asleep on during a lazy afternoon.

"This trundle day bed appears to be stylish. I'm not sure how I feel about leather furniture in our studio/office (or anywhere for that matter) but this one at least has some style and the leather parts aren't where kitty claws go."

"Appropriate places for guests to sleep are among my priorities, especially my brother and his (almost--one week from today!) wife. I cannot believe how boring the majority of trundle day beds are (well, day beds in general). This one at least is upholstered with clean, non-fussy lines. I'm hoping I can get different fabrics on different parts of the bed (can't see why not) so I'm pretty excited ab..."
