"These knives are world renowned and worthy of the lofty accolades. They aren't cheap but worth the price based on their high performance and durability. I have owned my set for over ten years and added to the collection over time. I have the classic style look and this version will never go out of style."
Wusthof Serrated Bread Knife
1 recommendation
"Everything in the kitchen is easier with good, sharp knives. I depend on three Wusthof blades: a serrated bread knife, a paring knife, and a 10-inch chef´s knife. The serrated knife is good for bread, tomatoes, and shaving big bricks of chocolate into meltable shards. The other two do everything else for me."

"This is the must-have. I call this the Prada of Knives. This is the one (and only!) knife you need, and the good news is that it will alst you your whole life. So shell out for the Prada. I adore it for its classy good looks, heft and sharpness of blade (which retains its edge very nicely!) and curved blade which allows for "rockability" during chopping. This means you work less, as the knife work..."

"Before I became a Sommelier and a wine merchant I was a Chef, and I wish that I had this knife in my kit back then. This knife is just such a quick, nimble extension of my hand, it’s like driving a sports car! It’s quickly become my favorite blade, and I find myself using it for jobs that I’d normally turn to a larger knife for."

"I don't believe in buying knives or pans in sets. You buy them as you need them. I love the weight of Wusthof knives, I keep them sharp with a stone, or sometimes use my electronic sharpener. I say go for the heaviest, biggest chef's knife you can. People are scared of big knives; they shouldn't be. A sharp heavy knife is less likely to cut you than a small one."
