It's a watch. No it's a cuff. No it's a statment. Really, it's all three and I like it. I guess you could say this is a ThisNext exclusive since no one has heard of the NOW watch, yet. Morgan, the designer, wears it very well but I was a touch skeptical as to how it would look on a female arm so we put it on Fashion Kitty. The response was, and I quote, "Bomb Ass." I agree. As David Lynch often says "The world is as you are," and as someone who is constantly on the go and always looking ahead at what's coming it's an excellent reminder to stop myself and be present. Rumor has it other styles will be offered but for NOW, pick up one of these. We all know someone who could benefit from the message.

It's Cartier; it's a timepiece; it's classic. I especially love the easy-to-read Roman numerals, the over-sized round face, and the date display. Add to that the versatility of metal and 18k yellow gold, and you've got a watch that costs almost as much as a small car.

Perfect for nursing moms because there are no sharp edges or hardware. I found that regular watches could cut the back of my baby's head when I was positioning her to nurse in my arms. As a nursing mother I found that time was something I had to keep track of for nursing and naps so a watch was crucial. Now that my daughter is older she can play with it without hurting herself or damaging it because it's close to indestructible. I was the hit at my mommy and me group because all the babies were mesmerized by the glow of my bright orange watch.

Regular numbers? Those are for amateurs. Show off your mathematical prowess with a watch that features the equivalent notation of each number. Cheat Sheet (included with each clock): 12 - a radical 1 - Legendre's constant is a mathematical constant occurring in a formula conjectured by Adrien-Marie Legendre to capture the asymptotic behavior of the prime-counting function. Its value is now known to be exactly 1. 2 - A joke in the math world: An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar. The first one orders a beer. The second orders half a beer. The third, a quarter of a beer. The bartender says, "You're all idiots," and pours two beers. 3 - A unicode character XML "numeric character reference." 4 - Modular arithmetic, also known as clock arithmetic, is a system of arithmetic for integers, where numbers "wrap around" after they reach a certain value. The modular multiplicative inverse of 2 (mod 7) is the integer /a/ such that 2*/a/ is congruent to 1 modulo 7. 5 - The Golden Mean...reworked a little. 6 - Three factorial (3*2*1=6) 7 - A repeating decimal that is proven to be exactly equal to 7 with Cauchy's Convergence Test. 8 - Graphical representation of binary code. 9 - An example of a base-4 number, which uses the digits 0, 1, 2 and 3 to represent any real number. 10 - A Binomial Coefficient, also known as the choose function. 5 choose 2 is equal to 5! divided by (2!*(5-2)!) 11 A hexadecimal, or base-16, number.

Turning numbers in to dates by Johnny OK so a few of you have been asking ; “Once I get the girls number how do I get to see her again ?” well, from my own personal experience, the longer you leave to call / text a girl you push yourself out of the comfort zone and she’s forgotten about you so here’s what I think is best to do. If you’re getting the number in the day (try to always *’nickname number close’ her ,( I will tell you why later), you drop a text that evening. Now the best time to call is between 10:30 – 11:30 pm let me explain why. Girls normally finish their day job about six, they get home/have dinner about 7-8, then from 8-9 they will be watching their soaps/doing coursework etc. 9-10 they might phone some friends to gossip, and from 10-11 they they’re just surfing the net maybe reading a magazine in bed killing some time. So the best time to call is that 10:30 – 11 bracket. Contact us at http://www.kezia-noble.com/contact/

  • Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Geographic watch Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Geographic watch - Photo

Want a watch that can emotionally engage you and set your imagination to other points on the globe? Any Jaeger "Geographic" will do, but the Master Compressor gets the nod. Sometimes a chunkier watch with "complications" is more interesting and fun. But it has to be tasteful, cleverly engineered, impeccably crafted and a pleasure to use and see. A serious watch that will hold your interest, tangible with working sounds and silky texture in every control. Always start with Jaeger-LeCoultre when looking for such a watch. Known best for the iconic Reverso, Jaeger is one of a tiny coterie of watchmakers who make the whole watch, movement to crown. In the trade, Jaeger is considered the watchmaker's watchmaker. Sometime, at least one watch you own should come from a company that is more than a case designer for movements bought elsewhere. Only a few qualify. Jaeger-LeCoultre heads the list. The Master Compressor watches have innovative seals at the controls for robust water resistance. Available in varying levels of complication, from simple date and time to full chronograph, all the Master Compressors share restrained style, assertive form, clear legibility, and smooth automatic movements. Mine is the Master Compressor Geographic, showing a second time selectable from around the world, each time zone represented by a landmark city in the visible crescent below 6 o'clock. Hot and want to feel cooler? Set the 2nd zone for Anchorage. Need some tranquility? Dial in Samoa. Whether your tastes run to chronographs or basic functions, there's a Master Compressor to telegraph your judgment on quality and lasting satisfaction. You can buy on the web but give your local dealer a chance too. Look carefully at warranty policies from online sellers.

It’s finally warm enough for you to shed your scarves, mittens, heavy boots and winter coat. But don’t stop there; your leather-band winter watch shouldn’t be strapped to your wrist for the next four months. You need a watch that’s light, bright and ready for summer. Enter this slinky, silver Sisley. The name isn’t so catchy (#7353111525? Paging the marketing department!), but the color certainly is--the pop of orange warms up the steel mesh rope on this bracelet-style watch. The striking design incorporates snakelike scales with chain-mail chic for a minimalist feel enhanced with exciting detail. This is one watch that will perk you up instead of weighing you down.

"For a wristwatch to be considered truly geeky it should have one of two things - the ability to play audio and video or some kind of communication functionality (like a built-in cell phone). Well, you can definitely put a big bold check mark in the "yes" column for the Metallic Video Watch with OLED Screen. With a full color screen this watch displays video and images very nicely with a 128x128 pixel resolution. The OLED screen is crisp and bright and the watch itself is surprisingly well proportioned (not thick or bulky). It also has a stylish band and metal case."
