OK, enough with the celebrity pet projects already...and I do agree. But as a Vitamin E addict, I am intrigued by this Argan Oil. With origins in Morocco, Argan Oil is rich in Vitamin E and can be used to heal and condition wherever it's needed - split ends, scars, cuticles, to name a few ideas. The best part is this is 100% organic - and comes in a recyclable glass bottle.

This product has done wonders for my skin and hair. Argan oil is only found in southwestern Morocco which makes it even more exotic. Absorbs into the skin very fast as well, so need to worry about that oily feeling. I would recommend using this as a part of your daily regime, for the results you experience will be instantaneous. Highly recommended for preserving your youth or turning back the years.

I'm dubbing this a little miracle in a bottle and every household should have some. With almost twice as much vitamin E (or tocopherol) as olive oil and far richer in linoleic acids, Argan Oil is a brilliant antioxidant and free radical scavenger that's loaded with essential fatty acids - necessary for healthy skin and hair at a cellular level. It softens fine lines, reduces blemish scars, renews tired, dull skin and also helps treat acne. Easily absorbed by the skin, this wonder oil also treats skin aliments including weak nails, blemish or chicken pox scars, cracked and chapped skin, inflammation, skin burns, stretch marks, itchy scalp and dry hair. We hear it doesn't do somersaults but nothing would surprise us.

Few months ago I was putting mascara on. What was the big deal about that is I realized that while doing the typical mouth wide open while applying mascara, two vertical lines appeared under my eyes. This was not funny, although I am getting up there in years. No body wants to see wrinkles, especially when you see them the very first time. So, what I did, I soaked under my eyes with argan oil for two days avoiding mirror at all cost. Argan oil comes from Morrocco and has more vitamin E plus very important nutrients that are reputed to reverse the signs of aging and dimish the appearance of wrinkles. When I finally got the guts to see myself in the mirror again and started with the mascara, I did not have a crack. Literally, those lines that I had just few days ago were gone. No more. And they never came back. All I have to say is argan oil really does work. Really. It's like food for your skin, and it is easy to see a huge difference in skin texture in just a few days. No wonder this stuff is in all high end cosmetics in Europe. it is worth every drop, and it is basically all you need to protect and moisturize. One small bottle will practically last you forever since all you need is two drops per application.

I just bought this from Sephora. I bought the small $14 bottle just to try it out. Based on the reviews, it seems like a miracle product. I have very dry skin on my legs, arms, and parts of my face. I can also use it to heal my split ends, my dry cuticles, as a bath oil, etc. after three days of using: this is truly a miracle product! i usually cannot wear lotions because it always clogs my pores. i also have combo skin so i never know how to combat that. this also works great on my hair, cuticles, legs, arms, elbows, knees, face, etc. and it feels so silky smooth!

Regular users of raw, unrefined shea butter rave about their softer, smoother and radiantly healthy skin. Unrefined shea butter contains an abundance of nature's healing ingredients from vitamins, minerals, proteins to a unique fatty acid profile making it a superior active moisturizer. Especially when you are switching from petroleum based moisturizers full of preservatives and chemicals, you will be delighted to experience raw shea butter's desperately needed capacity to restore your skin back to its' natural elasticity. Using shea butter makes your skin absorb more moisture from the air, and as a result, it becomes softer and stays moisturized for longer. Every home needs a jar of shea. I use shea often for a remedy of minor scrapes my kids seem to get on weekly basis. It is also great to get rid of frizzies and makes your hair nice and soft. This shea is especially great because nothing artificial is added. The citrus and sandalwood-vetiver sheas rate perfect zeros as in no hazard with Skin Deep Safe Cosmetic's Database. Beautiful stuff for beautiful people.

  • True Soap True Soap - Photo

Why is it "true soap"? According to FDA, true soap is simply made up of fats and an alkali. In the past, people made their own soap from animal fats and wood ashes. Now there are emerging soap makers like Destiny Boutique who make their all natural soaps from a long list of skin healing vedgetable oils such as olive, palm, coconut, soy, shea butter, argan oil, herbs, botanicals and essential oils. The reason these soaps are so great is because they actually moisturize your skin instead of stripping off the epidermis. Destiny Boutique's soaps are cold processed meaning the naturally occuring glycerin is left intact whereas many other soap companies choose to remove the glycerin that occurs during the soapmaking and sell it to the lotion industry. No wonder many "milled" and highly processed bars feel drying to the skin. Today there are very few true soaps in the traditional sense on the market. Most body cleansers on the market today are synthetic detergent products under the jurisdiction of FDA. True soaps are regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, not FDA, and do not require ingredient labeling. Some companies, mostly Signers of Safe Cosmetics like Destiny Boutique, chose to list their ingredients for consumers' review regardless if they are required by law or not. I have been using Destiny Boutique's soaps for one year. As a result I do not need any lotions anymore (well sunblock is needed). I used to have a problem skin with eczema and issues with rashes and dry skin. What a turnaround I had! No more flaky skin, no more itchy anything, no more problems. If you buy the soap, you will save in lotion money since after a while you will not need additional moisturizers. Besides most of the lotions in the market contain parabens anyways. Why would you want to put that stuff in your body?
