This melted wine bottle cheese board is a very unique serving dish. It's the perfect size for cutting cheese on. The cheese board is made by taking a blue wine bottle, laying it on its side in a kiln and heating it until it melts. Then, a melted wine bottle cheese board is born.

Charles Shaw is an American brand of "extreme value" wine produced in California distributed exclusively by Trader Joe's grocery stores selling for a mere $1.99. Because of this, the Charles Shaw wines are affectionately known as Two Buck Chuck. Shaw's 2005 California chardonnay was judged Best Chardonnay from California at the 2007 California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition.

I just drank this wine in Austin. I bought it at the grocery store. Maybe wine snobs will tell you a giant bottle of sweet wine that cost $10 and change is a bad thing, but my cousin, sister and I sure enjoyed the heck out of it! I've been told that if you are looking for a decent bottle of cheap wine, Barefoot is the brand to go for. They were right.

Corn. Snow. Oh yeah, and that friend of yours who never returns your calls. We all have a few flakes in our lives, some less desirable than others, but GOLD flakes are always welcome, particularly when you're special enough to eat them. Gold Flake Chopsticks are wooden chopsticks that are packaged with tiny gold flakes between the sticks. When you pull the sticks apart over your plate, sparkling gold flakes sprinkle down over your food, adding that last bit of luxurious garnish to your blue fin tuna sashimi. Or bowl of ramen.

I love this site and the wine. Staff gave me a Bold Reds Wine Club membership for Christmas last year and each month I got 2 new red wines I had never tasted before. It was such a great surprise each month and the wines were very good. Since the club ran out, I still buy and try various wines based on price or variety searches. They have good sales, excellent email follow ups, fast delivery and I've never gotten a bad wine. My 2 current favorites available on Wine.com are: The Australian Yalumba Barossa 95% shiraz/5% viognier and the organic California Merlot from Bonterra in the Napa Valley. Cheers!

he most certainly is worth his very own vineyard somewhere in the south of france, but let's be realistic - would you really go all the way to france and hang out on a vineyard when there's shopping to be had in paris?!?! right. a tiny little bonsai tree made of grape vines that bears edible wine grapes is a much better idea. grow grapes on your windowsill. use the tickets for shopping.

If you thought making wine in your kitchen was exciting (see Is it Wine Yet?) how about becoming a real winemaker without the fuss of actually having a vineyard. There’s a company in California called Crushpad, located in the heart of San Francisco, where you can do just that. While making your own wine will be fun and exciting, at Crushpad it's also serious business. You won't be alone when you set out to create that perfect cult wine: Crushpad provides grapes from California's top vineyards, they have their own winemaking team, and a state-of-the-art winery. You choose your level of involvement and they “do the rest.” Their very robust web site is great at getting the juices flowing (sorry, couldn’t resist that one), whether you’re a new winemaker or an experienced one.
