I LOVE this knitting pattern! It's well-written and yields one of the most adorable stuffed kitties you could imagine. I used it to knit a kitty for my little guy (using blue & green instead of red & pink of course) and just can't say enough good things about it. And you can't beat the price -- it's free!

Angela’s Coat of Many Colors Hand Knitting Pattern I love to wear this coat!! If you ever wondered what it feels like to be famous—wear this coat! I wore it into a chic San Francisco department store and the store buyer chased me out on the side walk to find out “WHO” did my coat. I said, “Catirina Bonet in Los Angeles”. He said, “Oh yes! Catirina Bonet! I have loads of their stuff coming in for next season!” ha! ha! What could I say to that? True story. I have a witness. As for the design, I once suggested that I might like to purchase some ridiculously overpriced fancy yarn to knit a coat. To which my utterly irritating mother (Bonnie—otherwise known as Bonet) responded, “Ridiculously overpriced fancy yarn is for people who are too lazy to make pretty stitches.” There it began. So, on my miniscule budget and admonished dreams, I bought one skein of Red Heart Worsted Weight acrylic at a time and set out to prove her point.” No small task but a really fun coat to make if you love a challenge. I was never bored because the colors and patterns change throughout. Living in sunny Los Angeles, the acrylic was a good choice for my wash and wear life style. I just may do it again though, this time in wool. Maybe even once in cotton. It really is a great coat!! **Ladies Sizes Small, Medium, Large all included

From my grandmother, who taught me to knit, I inherited an ancient book call a treasury of knitting patterns. To those that don't knit it's likely a tiny bit boring...it's just pages and pages of different stitch patterns. To those that do knit? It's the paintbrush for your ideas. The way to express yourself with just the perfect stitch. I'm pretty sure this is the reprinted version of the ancient book I have...which makes this book all sorts of awesome.

"An adorable elephant toy knit without seams on double pointed needles. Elijah was designed to be round and cuddly but still easy for little hands to grasp. He knits up quickly and since gauge isn’t too important is a great way to use up small amounts of yarn. Elijah would make a wonderful gift for any kid - or adult."

I'm always on the lookout for the "next big thing" and right now I'm adoring South Korea's Puch label. At first glance, this Fur Hood Knit Cardigan looks quite basic, but take a closer look and you will notice a unique diamond knit pattern and slightly rolled unfinished hem that make it unlike any other knit cardigan we've seen in the stores.

    • TickledPinkKnits

For those chilly days when a bare neck just won’t do, keep it cozy and in style with this striking and very warm hand knitted Cowl. In a blend of Italian-made merino wool and acrylic, the "thick & thin" fuzzy texture of the yarn and an airy knit pattern make for great visual and textural interest. The neckwarmer will be an ideal companion to your fall, winter, and spring outfits. It is indescribably soft and almost weightless, yet very, very warm. Its aquatic hues are peppered with lovely sage, amber, and wine bits. Go ahead and click on the photos to enlarge the images and explore the neckwarmer’s curly and fuzzy textured and delectable colors. This bold item will brighten up any day. Simply slip it over your head and let it drape freeform around your neck, or arrange it in the way you please. This voluminous scarf is sized very generously and can be folded and rolled in a variety of ways to be worn over turtlenecks and coat collars. With some improvisation, it can be a very wide headband, too. Treat yourself or a loved one to this luxurious yet affordable knitted delicacy!
