I KNOW THIS ALBUM... Let's see, I have the CD, Cassette, the VHS Tape and the DVD movie. Love the movie. Love the music. Oh, it's also on my IPOD. Great vocals. Any Michael Pare' is not hard on the eyes (in the movie : ) ) Many have compared Eddie & The Cruisers/John Cafferty soundtrack to Springsteen's and the E Band's work (hopefully as compliment and not as a rip off).Let's just say the Boss is the Boss and John Cafferty is John Cafferty. John Cafferty and his band were/are anything but a rip off. He has this very distinct knack for writing original and performing his material with plenty of hooks and upbeat melodies. His vocals are also easily recognized.They seem to have the tough rebellious rockin' edge to them when called for and yet that controllable warm vocal range that allows him to do a great ballad like Tender Years!The Beaver Brown Band can do no wrong---the sheer artistry and musical synergy between JC & BBB is a great musical force unto itself.

The year was 1985 when Eddie Murphy made what could easily be one of my favorite songs in the entire world. How Could It Be features the hit single "Party All the Time." Written and Produced by (I'M) Rick James (Bitch) and Kevin Johnston, this song reached #2 on Billboard top 100 during its heyday. In 2006 it was remixed by DJ Sharam Tayebi of Deep Dish and that reached #8 in the UK. This song never gets old. Never.

The premise is, somewhat, ridiculous and not completely believable. Many would even argue that Minnie Driver is more annoying than brilliant. However, I somehow got sucked into this shoe and thoroughly enjoy it. I think, don't expect a lot and you'll be more than satisfied.

If I could figure out where or if he sells instructional videos, I would highly recommend... This man is a living legend in the world Salsa scene... He danced for Tito Puente, he is what we call a street dancer, a natural, who later learned technique through teaching. He bleeds Mambo and his wife is a bonafide star among their students. Maria, Eddie's wife was subbing for him the night we took a beginner's lesson, but we weren't disappointed in the least. She had us laughing the entire class! It was probably the most fun hour working out that I've spent in a long time. Anyway... Class is $15 or cheaper if you buy a series and you don't need a partner. Dress is casual. Who else but the notorious and fashionably bizarre Eddie Izzard could simultaneously bust our guts with world history AND personal misadventures? Love this man. And I find him strangely hot with his jewel toned cassocks and bold makeup designs. He also is a comic genius with his adorable usage of swear words that sprinkle each routine.

I particularly like the blues, pinks, and yellows in this amazing quilt. The colors that Eddie Ross picks from it are lovely. I like the dining room suggestions best. I made the first image, with no endorsement whatsoever from Eddie Ross, but they are just his quotes.
