My experience with eye creams is really quite limited. I don't consider myself an expert on them, although you'd think with my puffy eyes and dark circles, I'd be trying everything on the market. The truth is, though, is that I usually forget to use it. And considering how much they typically cost, that's pretty silly. But I managed to score some samples from the awesome girls over at Bath and Body Works when I was buying the Freeze 24/7 serum, and I've been trying to remember to use it. Mostly I got it once a day, but on really good days, I managed to use it twice. Go me! However, if I was a regular user of eye creams or serums, this would be an excellent pick for me. It's not overly greasy or heavy and it does what it's supposed to do. Moisturize the delicate under-eye area and help prevent wrinkles. It also says that it helps get rid of current lines, and I would say that it does help in that area. It's not a miracle product - you're not going to eliminate your lines forever, but it does help. I also noticed a difference with my dark circles, which always show up when I forget to take my antihistimine, and this has been a particularly pollenriffic fall thus far. The downside? The price. Holy mother of pearl, it's tough to spend this kind of cash when the economy is in the toilet. But if you're flush with cash and need to invest in a good eye serum, this is right up your alley.

How cool would it be if the word "Monday" actually motivated and energized you instead of filling you with dread ? How inspiring would it be if we each felt as though we could contribute to the betterment of our world ? The authors of this book, Matthew Emerzian and Kelly Bozza, have given us a framework to help recreate our own lives and the lives of others in the process. Providing us with an example right out of the box, the authors have constructed this book from mostly recycled materials.

I read this book and instantly knew it would be in heavy rotation. The clever wit of Dave Eggers makes this book truly remarkable. It leaves you in a sort of half-smile, wishing you were that clever. Trivia: Dave Egger's little brother, Christopher, was my brother's roommate (for a brief period) at Choate Rosemary Hall. Small world, huh?

The latest effort by Boston architect Jermiah Eck, The Face of Home: A New Way to Look at the Outside of Your House, is a detailed look at practical ways to create a harmonious relationship between interior and exterior design. Though curb appeal is covered, it digs a lot deeper and hopes to help readers marry their house and its surroundings. "These days, we like to talk about something called 'curb appeal,' but we don't really know what that means," says the Boston architect. "The exterior, in general, is the most abused aspect of a house. It's ironic. We're spending more money and building bigger houses than we ever have - half of all American single-family houses now standing have been built since the 1970s. Last year, 1.8 million single-family houses were built, and very few of them were designed in any way. So many of them are so ugly!" "A face is a good metaphor for a facade. When we look at a house, it's like looking at a person. First we get an overall impression of shape, and, as we get closer, we notice the details. Most of all, we see the face. It tells us a lot about what's going on within." In the author's own words, "we'd be better off allowing the face of home to evolve on its own (we can always give it a label later). If your approach to the exterior of your house is thoughtful and considers the hallmarks I explain in this book, it won't matter whether people describe it as traditional, contemporary, or something else entirely. It won't matter because it will be just right."

I have a fatal attraction to anything cute and that is why I love everything this woman makes. she's a big fan of Hello Kitty and a lot of her designs remind me of something girls in the Harajuku district would flaunt. Tarina inspires my costume jewelery collection and so does Barbie. She's always been a fashion inspiration to me believe it or not. There is something so awfully fantastic about Barbie that I love to emulate. So what's more perfect than the Barbie collection at Tarina Tarantino? So you can see why i love Tarina. She knows how to do Lolita's innocence with a touch of glamour. This is a great look for soirees and I'm loving the bright nail polish.Notice the phone charm and the flower hair pin. Two gorgeous pieces that are insanely cute! And i thought my phone charm was adorable. You can actually find similar hair clips and phone charms at the ever popular Girl Props.

Could you guess the average increase it waiter's tips in each case? The answer (and much more) is in the book.

I knew I was going to need a bouncy seat before my baby was even born. As far as I am concerned, they are a must have for new moms. I tried to find one that was gender neutral so that when I had more children, I could keep using the same one. This one met that criteria and that's initially why I chose it. The tropical colors are bright and fun and engaging for both boys and girls. I didn't realize until my daughter was born though how GREAT of a bouncy seat it is. It has a vibrating function, which she loves. I wasn't sure how much "bounce" it had until she got bigger and was able to kick some and get it going. It has A LOT of bounce! Sometimes I can hear her squealing with delight because she has gotten it bouncing so well. The middle toy on the toy bar is a frog that can be pulled. It only plays one little tune, but it makes her smile every time! The two soft toys, the turtle and the snail, are detachable so they can be held and most importantly, washed. I have washed the cover once and it seemed to hold up just fine. This chair is lightweight and very easy to move from room to room, just make sure you do not pick it up by the toy bar. If you love bright colors and froggies, then this is the bouncy seat for you!
