This is my current backpack, small enough to bring to work everyday, and roomy enough to fit all my technological essentials around. It's available in different colors, but I picked the slick titanium silver finish, which is surprisingly durable. After almost 2 years of wear and tear, I only have a few faint scratches on the finish, which if I was not too lazy, I could probably buff out.

Boy, would this have helped when I was in school! My backpack was a bottomless pit into which things would disappear forever. This looks especially well-designed so that items are organized and accessible--and visible, so you know where things are. Samsonite are known for their quality luggage and this backpack is no exception. Everything about it feels quality. Your laptop is safely held within a padded cradle that is suspended above the bottom of the bag so that even if you throw the bag down your laptop should be protected from impact. The back of the bag is wonderfully padded so even with a bunch of lumpy items in the bag you won't feel them sticking into your back. As for features, how long have you got? ;-) It has card and pen holders, a detachable cellphone holder, headphone outlet, key clip and dozens of compartments; some of which are removable should you need more space. The zips have locking rings so you can padlock the bag shut. Samsonite really have thought of everything... it's just a shame I don't need to carry my laptop around more often so I can show off this fantastic backpack!
