Like most of the world I recently rediscovered the world of poker. I too used to be like you, the average occasional card player who used to use those cheap crap paper cards. Then I came upon the Kem cards that keeps it's form and are washable. If you play cards at all you simply have not played till you try these.

Playing cards! I love that a diversion invented during the Dark Ages is still the best way to wile away idle hours. This sleek vachetta case holds two decks of cards (included). It's slick looks might even intimidate the people you play with much the way a custom cue in an elegant case makes pool players nervous.

Cute artsy Dogs Playing Cards

Pack of Dogs Playing Cards Hereâs an ordinary box of playing cards transformed into a visual treasure. Inspired by his own pooch walking across a white tile floor leaving a pattern of muddy paw prints, artist John Little boy created a combination flip book and deck of cards. Hold an entire sequence from ace to ten in one hand, flip the card with your thumbs and youâll see a shaggy dog walking across the floor leaving âclubâ paw prints; or a determined Jack Russell digging for a bone in the diamond sequence. The picture cards represent an exotic mix from a "Jester" Pug on the Joker to a very âMarie Antoinetteâ Poodle as the Queen of Hearts. The following breeds appear on the cards: Beagle, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Dachshund, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell, Labrador, Pekinese, Poodle, Pug, Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier. Cards are laminated and measure 2 ½âW x 3 ½âH.

Nothing beats the classic Bicycle deck of playing cards for an endless source of entertainment at a college party. Play King's Cup, Screw the Dealer (or the less appropriate name), or one of the numerous other drinking games based on a deck of cards. Great fun and truly engaging.

BRANIFF International Airlines - Translation Playing Cards

Before the authors of my existence wrote my particular paragraph, a super-hip, ahead of its time airline existed that called itself Braniif International. What with the Emerald colored planes and the Pucci designer uniforms the stewardess' wore, Braniff was totally 60's fab. One of the little things they gave away were these cool playing cards, with the BI logo on one side, and a nice, 60-ish but clean graphic on the other. The graphic related to some common travelers phrase, which was printed in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Cool way to learn a language. There was a re-issue of the card set by Regulas, a German card and paper company, a few years back. They're a little hard to find now (I found them in Japan) but they're still cool.
