This nail pen is another beautiful example of “form meets function”. With this nail polish pen, it gives any woman (like me) the ability to do a “mistake-proof” manicure while also having a luxurious golden pen to boot! All that I needed to do was to shake the pen, click the top until the color began to form on the brush and then apply to my nails. I also could not get over how quickly it dried! The staying power was also good, I would say with a top coat it lasted 5 days and without 3-4 days (but this is with me being pretty hard on my nails). What I loved about it is that it's portable, and more importantly, distributed the nail polish evenly and easily. There is also a cap to protect the brush when you are done. The shade is a flattering neutral; a soft, pretty light petal pink which everyone can wear. I now want it in some of the other colors like Beige Touch to add to my collection. This is a new favorite gem of mine that is worth every penny!”

I’m always jotting notes and I’m never without a pen. I don’t like pencils, and never have, no matter how often I’ve tried to use them (even for crosswords!). This pen writes so smoothly, it seems to glide across the paper, giving just enough tactile feedback. I buy these by the dozen.

This pen is the perfect complement to the small Moleskine notebook. It can click on the elastic strap from the notebook, is the same width as the notebook, and won't fall of if you have the notebook in your back pocket. In addition, this pen will never leak and the lid covers the pen extremely securely so you won't accidentally write on yourself either. Because it is pressurized (it was invented by Fisher for NASA), it will always write -- even upside down. Okay, I tried the upside down thing and while interesting, I don't really have any use for using it that way.

I like to draw as one of my hobbies and for a long time I was in search of pens that laid down an even flow of ink and that would allow you to do it in different widths. Then I discovered the Rapidograph pens from Koh-I-Noor. The pen point sizes run all across the gamut. I also love the fact that you can mix different color inks to get just the color you want. Sure, the pens aren't inexpensive, but if you like to draw and are looking for a quality pen, then the Rapidograph series is what you want.

This is my current mechanical pencil, by italian maker Monteverde. This is a short pen which means it can be stuck in a pocket but is wide enough to hold really well between you fingers. Short and stubby I call it, and because it uses these incredibly wide 5.6mm lead, it's the perfect pencil for sketching, doodling, and the best companion my moleskine notebook has ever had.

Very nice, cheap and simple pen that never fails me, even in extreme conditions. The stainless steel surface and the shape are very comfortable in my hand. I have a dozen of them, because I tend to lose them. I also have a few red (plastic) ones to separate the blue ink from the red ink ones.

Ah.....the perfect partner to my Moleskine. A Pilot G2 pen. Comes in a variety of barrel models from the regular retractable to the fancy looking Dr. Grip, my favorite is the G2 mini - shorter than the original but writes just as well. Especially the Extra Fine (0.5). Smooth writing, water resisting, smear proof ink makes it even better. PLUS - it's afforable and refillable. For someone that likes to write as much as me - this is indispensable.
