This toaster ties with the Bugatti as one of the priciest on the market. There are plenty of bells and whistles that make this worth the investment for the serious toast lover: the heat shuts off but the toast doesn't pop up- keeping it nice and... errr... toasty until you're ready for it; four extra-wide slots will fit bagels and sandwiches- that's right, sandwiches. Just buy a handy sandwich rack and make toasted cheese to your hearts delight. My favorite stat for this baby though- 130 pieces of toast an hour. That's about a slice a minute.

I was watching Grey's Anatomy the other day (the episode with the hot dog competition) and was struck with a desire for hot dogs. I really only eat hot dogs on the beach or when I watch that Grey's Anatomy episode. But I like a toasted bun and while I always boil my hot dogs (or grill them), I love them how they come from vendors. If this hot dog toaster could capture that, it might be a nice addition to a beach house.

First, forget about upright, single-function toasters entirely. They only accept bread. Nope, you want a multi-tasker, a toaster oven that has enough room and the oven function. You can find them for cheap, around $15-25 - check places like Sears or Target as opposed to Crate and Barrel. Great for heating up leftover fried foods and pizza, and less hassle than using your real oven.

I've been known to be a research whore. I've been thinking of replacing my microwave with a toaster oven. It can't possibly be as difficult as say; switching to Linux from Windows? I love this site and the wine. Staff gave me a Bold Reds Wine Club membership for Christmas last year and each month I got 2 new red wines I had never tasted before. It was such a great surprise each month and the wines were very good. Since the club ran out, I still buy and try various wines based on price or variety searches. They have good sales, excellent email follow ups, fast delivery and I've never gotten a bad wine. My 2 current favorites available on Wine.com are: The Australian Yalumba Barossa 95% shiraz/5% viognier and the organic California Merlot from Bonterra in the Napa Valley. Cheers!
