It's a watch. No it's a cuff. No it's a statment. Really, it's all three and I like it. I guess you could say this is a ThisNext exclusive since no one has heard of the NOW watch, yet. Morgan, the designer, wears it very well but I was a touch skeptical as to how it would look on a female arm so we put it on Fashion Kitty. The response was, and I quote, "Bomb Ass." I agree. As David Lynch often says "The world is as you are," and as someone who is constantly on the go and always looking ahead at what's coming it's an excellent reminder to stop myself and be present. Rumor has it other styles will be offered but for NOW, pick up one of these. We all know someone who could benefit from the message.

BR 03-92 Phantom - Bell & Ross Watches - Matt Baily | Authorized Retailer

As the smaller version of the 46mm BR 01, the 42mm BR 03 case is accessible to pretty much anyone. People do not often say that this size is too big for them as they do with the BR01. Bell & Ross was amongst the first companies to offer an all-black watch. Dubbed the Phantom, the original BR-01 model was produced in limited numbers and sold out rather quickly. Now the BR-03 is available in limited production. This means that no more the 500 will be produced in any given year. Still relatively hard to get. I have worn this watch on several occasions and I would rank it in the top 3 most commented-on watches that i have ever worn. The funnest part was when asked what time it is. I just held up my wrist as if showing the person the time. His face was perplexed then intrigued as at first sight it seems that the watch does not display anything at all. Because the numbers and hands are so big, however, there is no problem reading the time if you are expecting the all-black dial. Furthermore, the hands and markers are photo-luminescent so they are very visible when the lights are off.

Regular numbers? Those are for amateurs. Show off your mathematical prowess with a watch that features the equivalent notation of each number. Cheat Sheet (included with each clock): 12 - a radical 1 - Legendre's constant is a mathematical constant occurring in a formula conjectured by Adrien-Marie Legendre to capture the asymptotic behavior of the prime-counting function. Its value is now known to be exactly 1. 2 - A joke in the math world: An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar. The first one orders a beer. The second orders half a beer. The third, a quarter of a beer. The bartender says, "You're all idiots," and pours two beers. 3 - A unicode character XML "numeric character reference." 4 - Modular arithmetic, also known as clock arithmetic, is a system of arithmetic for integers, where numbers "wrap around" after they reach a certain value. The modular multiplicative inverse of 2 (mod 7) is the integer /a/ such that 2*/a/ is congruent to 1 modulo 7. 5 - The Golden Mean...reworked a little. 6 - Three factorial (3*2*1=6) 7 - A repeating decimal that is proven to be exactly equal to 7 with Cauchy's Convergence Test. 8 - Graphical representation of binary code. 9 - An example of a base-4 number, which uses the digits 0, 1, 2 and 3 to represent any real number. 10 - A Binomial Coefficient, also known as the choose function. 5 choose 2 is equal to 5! divided by (2!*(5-2)!) 11 A hexadecimal, or base-16, number.

"We make the little shit better," say the watchmakers at Nixon. And after seeing their newest design, we can't help but agree. Stylish, water-resistant and precise, the Rotolog is one of our favorite new timepieces. Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Duo watch
Shop for it at:
Recommendation:

The dress watch. People see it before your clothes. Generic is unacceptable. A social lubricant and a quiet communicator of your seriousness and taste, the Jaeger Reverso's timeless Deco craft will be a lifetime source of pleasure to own and use. Jaeger developed and released the Reverso in 1931 in response to complaints of shattered watch crystals by British and Indian polo players in India. The classic and original Reverso is a single-face mechanical, hand-wound watch that flips 180 degrees in its half-shell to shelter its crystal and put its metal back to the hazards of play. Consider that blank rectangle of polished metal a canvas for the engraver's or enamellor's art. Reversos can do double duty as sport watches (of course! inspired by polo) and dress watches. And now they come in a variety of metals, trim, sizes and styles, from the trim 19mm wide ladies' version, and tidy 26mm original, to newer chunkier iterations pushing 30 mm wide. If you can only have one, consider the Duo -- two different watch faces able to track two different time zones, running off one movement. When I was a kid beginning to read the New Yorker at 8 years old, the Reverso ads capitvated me. I thought it was the coolest watch ever, and vowed to buy one. A few decades of more urgent expenses intervened, but I finally got my Reverso Duo about 30 years after my first pangs for it. This is a watch that hit the market during a dark time, and eventually better conditions prevailed. Owning one is a reminder the same thing will be true again.

Cuervo y Sobrinos Torpedo Pulsometro Chronograph Watch
Shop for it at:
Recommendation:
-
Pre-Castro, Cuervo y Sobrinos was a Havana watchmaker of considerable renown. Now CyS is located in Europe and crafting Swiss automatic movement watches that also resurrect many of the expressive mid-20th-century Caribe-Latin tropical case shapes and dials that evoke a more elegant and understanding era. Put a Cuervo watch on your wrist and feel your heart rate slow, your stress level drop, and your euphoria level climb every time you check the hour. The case shapes are decidedly vintage but updated to the newer large sizes of contemporary timepieces. Project a higher sense of style than the generic status brands, keeping the quality but eschewing the lack of imagination. Look at this watch -- now THAT's a watch face! The Cuervo y Sobrinos web site shows the full spectrum of lazy Cohiba style they offer. My favorite is this Torpedo Pulsometro Chronograph in stainless steel. Your dial can be black & white, all black, 2-tone cream, or my favorite, black & cream. Your watch is often noticed before you're within speaking distance, so make a careful choice that telegraphs your taste and imagination. THIS is a careful choice for an independent-minded man.

$27,550.00 for a reason! He hand makes each watch, and this model, in addition to the time, shows the location of every planet in the solar system in relation to the sun. All the time. Forever. That is a HECK of a complicated watch to build. But yeah It's expensive :) , and I am not sure I NEED to know where Venus is RIGHT NOW.

These watches are such good value for money! Take it from someone who knows, these are rolex quality waches that would retail at over £1500, but these guys sell them from £135! I have two - the C3 Malvern Chronograph (in silver, with steel bracelet as an eveyday watch) and the C1 Russell in Gold, as a dress watch. I'm now looking at getting the new C6 Kingfisher Diver-pro - i'm not a diver, but the colour range is so great! If you want a really special, high quality precision movement watch then this is the place to look. I also love the fact that they're quite exclusive - the chances of you bumping into another CW owner are really quite small, and everyone's interested by the smart looking timepiece on your wrist, and where you got it!

Burberry Gents Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch

Saw a similar Burberry watch like this in the new Nordstrom catalog for accessories! While this says its for the 'gents' I know that a fab girl can pull this off on her delicate wrist. I love a heavy steel watch; one that isn't too gaudy either. This watch is just the right amount of glam/luxe and practicality. A Burberry watch that I like, who knew.

Transformers was awesome! Never really watched it as a cartoon when I was young, but the movie was hot! I don't care what anyone says, as an action movie it couldn't have been better. The middle to end was unbelievable, especially if you have a huge TV and a surround system hooked up.

Drivers LED Watch ZX1
Shop for it at:
Recommendation:

This modernist Drivers Watch features a classic LED display exactly like Pulsar watches that were made during the 1970's. To display the time or date simply push one of the seperate dedicated buttons on the right side of the watch body and it will clearly light up for as long as the button is pushed then remain lit for a few seconds. There is another recessed button used for setting the time and date. This is a brand new watch manufactured using latest generation LED watch modules originally based on 70's technology, now these new modules offer the same fantastic looking LED illuminated display but with better performance. This watch features completely brand new technology, body type and design but offers the great authentic Pulsar style - there is nothing like a genuine LED digital watch display with a heavy quality feel.
