I love these monogrammable glasses from Williams Sonoma. To look at these tumblers, you’d swear they were made of glass. In fact, what appears to be glass is a shatter-resistant polycarbonate, the same durable plastic used to make bulletproof windows. Engraved with a single-initial monogram and proportioned for serving iced tea, each of the six is lightly tinted in a different distinguishing color – a convenience when you’re entertaining outdoors. Unlike typical acrylic glassware, these won’t discolor, cloud or crack. Microwavable and dishwasher safe. 17-oz. cap., 6 1/4" high. Set of six, one of each color. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

When we got married, my husband and I registered for fancy china and everyday china. The fancy stuff has come out once and we take such good care of our everyday stuff that we rarely use it. Instead, we have about six pasta bowls, those wide, shallow bowls, from Williams Sonoma. They are our go-to dining ware. We eat almost everything out of them, from salads to vegetables to lamb chops. I think it´s the fact that the shallow lip keeps your fod from spililng off the edge, which is important when your apartment is so small and your dining table is a coffee table in front of a futon.

A moisturizer that not only hydrates but also heals your skin from the inside out. Studies have shown that the antioxidant properties of green tea are far more potent than vitamins C and E, that active manuka honey promotes rapid healing (because it stimulates tissue regeneration), reduces scarring, and restores the skin to its natural luster. What more can you ask for?

I love baking, but sifting ingredients has always been a pain. That is, until now. Rotary sifter, where have you been all my life? I first tried a rotary sifter in the test kitchen of a magazine where I was competing in a cooking contest. I'd requested "a good sifter" thinking maybe the test kitchen professionals knew something I didn't about sifting. Sure enough, a funny looking sifter with a crank and two "wheels" turned up at my station. Thinking it wouldn't be any better than my usual shake and press-handle sifter, I gave it a whirl and was amazed how the flour went straight through without clumping or flying up. “I love this thing!" I said out loud. A test kitchen staffer heard me and echoed my sentiments, saying she loved the tool as well. When I returned home to Austin, I did some research and found the best price on this type of sifter was Williams Sonoma. You can buy it at the store for $16.00 or order on line and pay shipping costs. Whatever you end up paying, it will be worth it. My cakes are much better now that I'm sifting the dry ingredients and making frosting, a process in which sifting powdered sugar is key, is a breeze. This is a must-have tool.

I love iced green tea, but I don't have time to brew it and chill it. These packets are *ground* tea leaves and you simply mix the powered leaves into ice cold water and you have a seriously good alternative to diet coke. For those of you following your pal Jason on the beverage trail you now have Green Vibrance and YomoMotoYama on your daily list... green tea is good for you and I'm told that you get more tea and good stuff in this than brewed tea. Drink more. :-)

This is quite simply THE best green tea I've ever tasted. I buy it in bulk to make sure I never run out. The company's customer service is outstanding, too. Once, when part of my order was out of stock, they shipped it direct from Japan at no additional charge. Plus, once a year, they have an outstanding sale for their loyal customers.
